I have no worries about Liu Kang being in the new MK. I just hate old boring cliched Liu Kang. You know, the chinese monk that always wins all the tournements and has 2 fireballs, and 2 special kicks. It got old and boring. Though, I am totally open minded for new Liu.

The problem is he hasn't changed since MK2. Same look, same sounds, same moves. He's dull, cliche and sounds incredibly annoying. He should stay dead, there's been too much of him. Kano, Sonya and Cage shouldn't be around anymore either. Yeah, they're classic greats, but those four in particular I think have had their time and it's time to move past them now.

in each mortal kombat his sounds got worst to me i hate woooooooooo annd waaaaaaaaaa ect sound effects lol and dont even get me started on his bycycle kick lol he could be really good kinda like jann lee from doa maybe

IMO liu kang needs to sit out for a while. Hes had his time in the spotlight, now its time for others to have there turn. Kung lao takes his place farely well. Also, IMO, the whole liu kang returning as a zombie/ghost thing, sounds ridiculous.

I mean Liu Kang does sound like a bitch and he's a bruce Lee stereotype, but overally Liu Kang will still be a major character no matter what happens. No major character has been out of the game for 2 games in a row.
I got high hopes for Liu

Well, I really didn't like Liu in previous games for many reasons.

1. His voice
2. His look
3. His track record
4. His never changing move list
5. His unreal fatalities

To me, he just sucked. Don't get me wrong, however, because that was just an opinion, and I do actually have high hopes for him in Deception. If any of you have Capcom vs. SNK II EO, you know how Rugal and Akuma have a super evil "twin" if you will. Anyway, I was thinking about Liu maybe like that. You know, with an echoing low voice. Laughing like whoa all the time. It would rock, and it would change a whole lot of people's conception for Liu in Deception. Think about it.
