It would be interesting to see characters fly in this game. Seeing how they made Sindel fly, it would be likely to see the DC characters who are in the game that fly, to actually fly.

And for Superman, of course his eye beams or whatever that is. I'm guessing something with his super strength.

Batman will obviously use his gadgets to take down his opponent, I will laugh if they manage to give Batman the ability to throw a big bolt of bats out at the enemy. That will make my day if I see that.

But other than that, I have no other clues what they will give the other 8 DC characters.

Green Lantern:

Will definitely have the classic "Giant Fist" thing he often did with his ring.

Sonic, Stunner, Net, Flash, or Cryonic Arrow

Well, hehe Boon said already that Superman will have some flying moves, heat vision as his projectile no doubt but won't go "too nuts" with Superman especially. He will have some flying, speedy moves though no doubt

Batman as IceBaby said, will most likely have batarangs, evade moves, smoke pellets etc

GL will have a few cool moves with his ring for sure, probably some kind of shield move I'd imagine and projectiles

WW will have perhaps her lasso move, maybe like a grab and slam move like Scorpion's spear but different obviously, wrist bracelets might deflect shit..

Flash, speed moves, dodging moves

I was kinda surprised amidst the hype for new fighting modes, we didn't get news of a further developed aerial kombat system. I suppose the falling kombat is something like that, but it seems like a missed opportunity to develop something out of a very MK gimmick.

You'd have to think projectiles won't be too much of a stretch for most characters...

Just falling kombat, rather intriguing idea if you ask me. Something that's never been done before and I personally like that whole "movie falling down action" view, reminds me of indeed comic book movies like Superman, Spider-Man fights etc...

They'll probably have the same attacks that the current MK characters have.

There's quite a few things i would love to have for John. But I'll stick to basics.

You mean the invincibility move right? you said invisibility.

I know that move, he becomes transparent and invulnerable. That's such a cool move.

Shapeshift has to definitely be a move or two of his.

... Anyway... What kind of shape-shifting moves are you guys angling for?
I'm not generally the biggest fan of the power, but I think it would be important to maintain an established logic, while also steering clear of territory occupied by other characters. I struggle to think of much worthwhile in a gameplay mechanic that isn't already taken.

Shang Tsung style morphs would be loathesome, transformations into alien creatures seems unecessarily detached and a bit of a pointless exercise for asthetic changes, and even in the absence of Plastic Man/Elongated Man, I'd hate to see him infringe on bendy/stretchy gimmicks.
