much? As long as you can use it to choose a fighter

I think a good looking character select screen Is Important, It's so easy to do and It would be very annoying If It was done rubbish.

I thought the MKDA character select screen was wicked, with their height, weight, what side they are on etc (Hopefully MKD will have that too) And also a good picture of the character too, not just a silly pose, they gotta look aggresive and pissed

They should also have the chracters name above there head, becuase in two player mode you cant see profiles

And make them say something or make some noise when you select them.. And/or make a little animation with their faces when you pick them..

Make the whole body move...like with lui you could have him doing his fist on palm prey he does in the other mk games.

They should make the character selection take place in the Dragon Kings lair. And when you select your fighter the announcer will announce your name in dolby surround sound and your fighter will walk through a portal.

I agree with slobzero, the char select should be cool but its not as important as say the character design or the gameplay so we shouldn't worry about this as much, although I do like some of your ideas.

it would be cool to actually see the char your about to select standing on the side of the screen, maybe taunt or do some pose.
