what Characters?

Kenshi Kitana Sub Zero Scorpion Raiden Kano

Kenshi, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Kung Lao.

I'll be surprised if Mavado isn't in this game, but maybe they'll have a new Red Dragon member (please god let him be better than Hsu Hao!) who knows.

Three characters have already been confirmed: Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Kenshi

I still pray to the little gods of technology that Rayden will make it back. But the characters I think most likely to return are:

Sonya (Because we need at least one female fighter from Earth, and Frost is too much like Sub-Zero. However, she might not be included if the entire game takes place outside of Earthrealm. She and Jax might be too busy setting up security measures and all but one portal has been destroyed.)

Kung Lao (Only because we need a White Lotus. If Kai returns or a new White Lotus appears, then he might stay home to train new warrior and help in Earth defenses, esp. if the story completely takes place outside of Earth.)

Kitana (Only because Mileena and Sindel are returning. Hopefully we find out she is missing and Sindel is looking for her.)

and the runner up would be Rayden (Because of his ending and him stating that he will fight all dangers to earthrealm as the god of thunder, not as its protector. Thus enabling him to go to other realms and preventing the danger from reaching earthrealm. Unfortunately, the appearence of Ashra and the limited slots makes him a runner up.)

I afraid that that Thunder God might be stuck back to just being the storyteller/advisor again.

I doubt Cyrax (or any cyborg) will return, since the story seems to be taking a more mythic line at this time. Nitara will definitely not make the cut. The only non-humanoid to make more than two games in a row is Reptile, and he started out as a humanoid. The same reasoning goes to the Onis. The other characters such as Jax, Mavado, Johnny Cage are all earth based and the problem of where the conflict is taking place and their storylines seems to lower their chances of returning. Frost...we already have one ice-ninja returning. As for the socerers, we have enough villians in MKD with the Dragon King and possible new ones appearing. However, I would count Shang and Quan as runner ups after Rayden.

The Deadly Alliance has to be defeated; with Mileena comes Kitana; Scorp and Sub are in screen shots; Kung Lao is the new hero; Sonya....needs to be in this game.

Quan Chi, Raiden, Kang Lao, Sonya, Kitana & and Maybe Drahmin

people from MK 4 I think should return are definately....

Dude, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Baraka etc... are considered classic characters to begin with hence they were in the previous mortal kombat games. The article means 6 returning characters from MK:DA that were new to the MK series like; Mavado, Li Mei, Boraicho etc...

The only character I hope returns is Mavado.

I can only say I hope Sonya is back.



But oh well, if she is not, Im sure she will return in Mk7.

I agree.. I think they mean 6 MK:DA exclusives. This excludes the classics. So I hope for Frost, Nitara, Drahmin, Mavado, and Hsu Hao aside Kenshi.

Kitana and Quan Chi will return since we've already seen pictures of them from the board game. Kung Lao is probably going to be the "hero" of the game this time around as well.

This report on characters really hurt when I read it .. with only 6 MK:DA characters returning .. I don't think Kitana has much of a chance (Prob the reason Sindel and Mileena are back). As much as I hate to think about it, I think Sonya, Raiden, and Kung Lao are going to be the final 3.

Hopefully frost makes it in, i thought she kicked ass, plus her story will fit well with the whole decieving thing. I also want raiden back.

Actually, that screenshot has those characters in the outfits from MK:DA .. While she will prob be playing in the chess game, It doesn't mean she will be a selectable character. They can very easily take thier models and insert them into it.

MY GOD !!! For the last time, if they are playable in the chess game , then they are playable in the fighting game. The combat in the chess game goes into the standard arcade mode fighting game, so why would they put a character in the chess mode and not in arcade mode. Its shocking how many people do not read between the lines. Though they used kitana's model from DA, the fact is if you can use them in the chess mode then you can use them in the standard fighting game. Now whether or not kitana will be in the game is hard to say.

Because it could have been just to show off the chess game didn't you notice they all had MKDA models so it's not like it's definite

YES! BUT AS YOU CAN SEE...the pic had models of MKDA characters costumes and looks. Its VERY easy to use that for testing, but to actually add them in the game is another story.

Sorry to ofend some of you but this is my opinion on this subject.
Mortal Kombat DA was a turn page in the series but lack many things and introduced a lot of great stuff but...

In the characters there were simply casting errors for MK:DA like: Li Mei, i like a lot of playboy style girls but for me is not enough in a fighting game (if she is in playboy i definetly buy it,LOL); Hsu Hao and Mavadao, Who the Hell are those guys? I think they were filling characters only and Hsu Hao is too bad to be true. Next, Where are males there are females but Frost is just a clone of Sub Zero and don't have charisma. BoRaiCho never mention this one again I think we will stay better as a trainer. Nitara and Drahmin altough good ideias they ara just that... good ideas. Put them away (far away). QuanChi and Shang Tsung there are two many sorceres and too much is too much. One of them was just fine. Cyrax is a cyber ninja, Duh, cyber ninja? I think they should put a virus on these metal clones of ninjas. Blaze and Mokap these two characters were made probably because they were (the creators) too drunk to think.LOL.

Now with the others. I think Johnny Cage need a vacation this time. Sonya is ok but i think we have enough female fighters. Jax: i didn't like him since the begining so i am not pleased if he will return again. Reptile has the worst installment this time, he was an awesome in the others MKs. Kano so and so. Neither like him or deslike him.

Al least my wishes are to the guys from MK:DA that should comeback:
Confirmed: Scorpion, SubZero (classicals), Kenshi
My preferences: Kitana(because of Sindel and Mileena and her weapon), Raiden(another classical) and Kung Lao.

Finally, like the title of the next MK. I think a Deception will come to me because my wishes are only that... my wishes. But who the hell the returns are i will buy it and play it as the best Mortal Kombat ever. Well we all have our deception but we can live with that right guys? All we need is MK:D.

Like I said in my post , im not denying that those are MD:DA models used in the chess game, what I am saying is that people keep arguing that just because they are in the chess game doesnt mean they will be a selectable character. My point is that IF kitanna or anyone for that matter is selectable in the CHESS game then they have TO be SELECTABLE in the FIGHTING GAME simply because the chess combat revolves around the standard arcade mode of fighting.
