I am hoping he isn't tin the game. I hate him. If he is in, then hopefully he'll die. He is incredibly lame. If people like him, then to each his own. For me, he's a waste of space and should've been dead long ago.

It's true, Jax has always been the one black character. They just made Jade because they felt like ripping into the pallette swapping technique as much as they could, and since Mileena and Kitana had already done the whole ''change clothes but keep the same skin tone'' thing, because they were suppose to be twins, they made Jade black so people couldn't say she was a twin aswell.
I hate Jax. I always have. In MKII, he was just plain dull. A black military guy with simple trousers. It's a terrible design, and a terrible story. In MK3, the arms were just a stupid add on. And, IMO, a grain of stereotyping to match Street Fighter's balrog. They couldn't put him in boxing gloves or it would seem like a rip off, so they just placed some cheap robotic arms. It's like they think that the only thing black men can do is punch.
And MKDA... well, that was just beyond bad.
I do hope Jax is dead.

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Jax was seen in Konquest Mode... about to fight Shujinko! Of course, he could just be an unplayable NPC, like Assassin and Berserker in Soul Calibur 2, but somehow, I doubt it.
As for his looks, he looks exactly like he did in MKDA. Sorry to disappoint, but there you have it.

Well will find out soon enough but he has been in mk2 mk3 mkda and some people like his moves its just his fatalities and story they should be able to make a story up for him....he does have very crappy fatalities....(head stomp,arm rip,crush head with clap)....needs improvement if he is in.

Well, although it sounds slightly racist, it is true. Sure, Cyrax was black too but no one really knew it since he was a cyborg. But now, like he said, Darrius is replacing him.

Very, very true. Looks like the same is happening for Darrius. I mean come on, he looks so generic. Sunglasses with an outfit that almos looks like armor? Wow.

Yea, Jax was seen in Konquest, what that means exactly I dont know but the text said he was about to fight Shujinko which leads me to beleive that he will be playable somehow, possible a Super Secret character. Because if he was just an NPC, why would they fight?

I don’t like or hate Jax.
I think he has potential, like any other character, especially with his steel arms even though some people might hate them.
IMO, he should rest this game and return looking better then ever in MK7. With an improved story and look.

I enjoyed Jax. He was a tough character and had some decent combos. It's too bad he was never much more than Sonya's bitch. They could have really given him a great story if they wanted.
Also, I think when people say they saw Jax fighting in konquest, they were just seeing an alternate costume for Darrius and didn't realise because they do look alot alike. The game is coming out soon though so we will all know then.

No.It was Jax not a alt for Darrius.You can't mistake those metal arms.

I'm African-American (a very cute one at that) and proud to be an American LOL and wasn't offended. I think Jax was one of the lamest characters in Mortal Kombat.
I wouldn't be hyped if he returned, but it would be nice for him to come back and be more better overall.
His "ground smash" was a nice move.
Question: Is that chick Tanya Black or White?
I only ask this because in some pictures/renders I saw of her, her skin was darker than before.
