LMAOOOOOO (applauds you) Yea for once I THINK he's not talking about Sektor LMAO...unless Liu Kang or Kung Lao somehow met up with Sektor, which is when they turned him into a human again, forcing him to become a Shaolin Monk, but with a strange turn of events, Sektor's fate met the same as Liu Kang's and he got killed by someone but didn't fully die so he became a zombie...=/

No idea. It was probably just to please the fans that hated the fact that he wasn't in MK:DA. I was kinda glad he wasn't in MK:DA but I look forward to playing as him in this game. Maybe he really didn't die or something. Who knows, I haven't seen the intro and I don't want anyone that has seen it telling me what happened in it (besides the whole raiden shit that i've already heard about) but there might've been something about Liu Kang in there or something. His bio, his ending, or Konquest might tell you something about it

possible spoiler
rumor (with some sketchy proof) is that Liu kang is brought back from the dead and is currently fighting a battle with his own self, constantly fighting off the zombie/evil side of him, or something like that. His tomb was vandalized and his body was desecrated by being ressurected, and who did it is unknown, though some measly proof points to Havik.

I'm glad you found it that funny (and i did read what you said in the other thread) but uhh...it wasn't THAT funny =/. O well (goes on with my business)
Liu Kang's corpse was reanimated by someone. Liu Kang's spirit knew that his body was around and killing people at the order of someone. Liu Kang dosen't know who would do this so his spirit roams around Outworld to help fight against Onaga and reclaim his body.
Reanimated means make a new. You know how Johnny Cage was ressurected. The Elder Gods restored his body. The same thing happened to Liu Kang's body exept under an evil lord.

do you guys remember the ending of Quan Chi from MK:DA?
"The Deadly Alliance was successful in reviving the mummified remains of the Dragon King's undefeatable army. It would appear that nothing could stand in the way of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi as they began their domination of the realms. Unfortunately for Shang Tsung, however, Quan Chi had no further need for the partnership. Once Shang Tsung had finally revived the last of the mummified warriors, Quan Chi closed the portal to The Heavens and effectively shut off Shang Tsung's endless supply of souls. Quan Chi then instructed Kano to assassinate Shang Tsung in a surprise weapon attack. With their captor cut wide open, the thousands of souls Shang Tsung had consumed in the past spewed forth and swirled around the room."
"Quan Chi came to the realization that if Kano could so easily turn on Shang Tsung, he could also turn on Quan Chi himself. Quan Chi used his sorcery to drain the life from Kano and left his body where it fell. Immediately one of the lingering souls shot into Kano's body. To Quan Chi's surprise, the man standing before him was no longer the Black Dragon thug known as Kano. Kano's body now contained the soul of the Shaolin monk... Liu Kang."

No.
That ending did not happen, as Liu Kang's soul is NOT in Kano's body.
But elements from certain endings do indeed occur at times, so if Shang Tsung is not behind his resurrection, that can only mean that everyone's favorite soul-sucker is dead, allowing Liu's soul to escape.
