Did you ever play UMK3 on the Genesis/SNES? That's MKA.

MKTE is similar to MKDA, except that it has only half of the characters, and it features the pallet swaps Noob Saibot and Sektor, and features Sareena, a character who hasn't appeared in any other MK since Mythologies: Sub-Zero.

Well, have you ever played DA on the consoles? It's like that, except it has the characters that TE doesn't have (Shang Tsung, Scorpion, and Quan Chi are common to both games).

Basically, MK:DA and TE take place several years after MK:A (storyline-wise). I haven't played any of the games, so that's about as much detail as I can give.

MKA and MKTE shouldn't even be allowed to be compared.
