Whats up with sub-zeros mask?

yea first of all if this has been asked or stated sorry, but why does subzero look like shredder(sp) from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? What happened the designers couldnt come up with an idea or something?

Yes this has been bought up numerous times,but what's wrong with his look?I happen to like his new look very much.As for his shredder mask...yes alot of people have posted that same remark.I look at it like this.If you don't like his mask,use his alt outfit.Pretty simple.

Cause they wanted him to look more chinese... since he looked too much like japanese ninjas... and like Sub Zero stated.... "let's get something straight, I am a lin kuei, not a ninja, scorpion was a ninja"

It was said in his bio that Subzero found his ancestral roots in Outworld. We can only assume that this is the armor of his heritage.

I don't know why he's still wearing a mask, I mean since MK3 he didn't seem to NEED it because he went maskless. I guess since his age is increasing he's getting a little bit protective of his now haggard face? LOL
Anyways I think it's pretty cool looking.

didnt it used to freeze up like the movie.That was cool.I wonder if they will add that feature to Deception for Sub-Zero.

Wrong cartoon. Anyway the Ninja Turtles are best superheroes ever.I thnk that would be great to see them in MK7, but it wouldn't be taken seriously.

I agree with TempOrary here, it's most likely his heritage armour. Either way, I think it looks pretty bad-ass.
