There are no real bosses in MKA except for Blaze. The ladder is just there for you to fight different people.

niether was goro or kintaro but they still got the boss fatalitys

I hate the way Motaro looks on MKA. What happened to his hind legs?

A curse was placed upon his race and they lost their hind legs. His ending confirms this. Here's his ending:
Flames lashed at Motaro’s body as Blaze released his energy. The searing pain consumed Motaro as he staggered about the top of the pyramid. When at last the fire dissipated, Motaro felt the familiar sensation walking on four legs! He had undone the curse that had transformed his Centaur race into Minotaurs. With renewed purpose, Motaro vowed that the Shokan would pay dearly for their treachery.'

The ladder is simple.


First it starts with Normal sized Characters. And at the top it will always do a big boss off of the Selection screen at the very bottom.

i think he means cuz motaro can do air combat and does normal fatalities, as the other boss like characters do a boss type fatality.
