You won't get this kind of shit on XBL. That's why I pay $50/annum because I know if there's going to be an outage, they'd let me know about it with prior notice. They won't just neglect it like it's not their responsibility.

Actually Dan, PS2 does suck as a console and I'm not a fanboy of M$. I have all the major consoles and PS2 is pretty much the worst of them bar the controller. I'll even go as far as saying Dreamcast is a better console.

Furthermore, you can't separate the online service dude. It's still part of PS2 world so I blame them for not regulating it. I would rather pay for a good service than have bad service for free.

Either way you're a little late coming into NTSC server G. None of the best players are on anymore so you won't find much. The lobby's become a social gathering for some stupid reason. But I'll tell you who to avoid in the PS2 lobby:

~ all of the GREEN clan. They ALL quit. Also claim that their Quan Chis can own anyone which is not the case.

~ LN clan. This clan consists of a bunch of Latinos that are nothing but KAK scrubs. They think using and beating you with a KAK makes them "elite".

Certain players to avoid:

69AJ69 ~ has a fake win streak of like 180 or some shit like that. On the mic he'll tell you to pick a certain character and to use only certain moves to mkae it easy for him. When you do beat him he quits.

SKYJIN ~ No this is not DEVILJIN. He has a 200+ win streak and no losses. Just put this guy on ignore when you see him.

EDNOOB ~ KAK scrub nothing special

BMIKE86 ~ fake win streak. Quits or pulls, I don't know which cuz I've never played him.

BMIKE86 is REEDBOY. It's one of his 1000 boosted tags.

But yes, you're a little late coming back to NTSC.

And as for the 6th gen consoles, you say PS2 is the worst? You must have forgotten about GameCube, then.
