I am no computer genius by any means but I think its a flash site which is heavy on the graphics which causes the longer load times. It only takes me 2-5 seconds to load so IF I am correct your video card and or proc is just slow. If I am totally wrong I do appoligize.

It's been posted many many many times with reasons etc...

lol, me too .. everything loads fine except for the top dragon logo which takes an additional 5 to 10 seconds and freezes the whole screen. the look is wonderful. But function over eye candy please. I visit the game faq's more often myself.
what are the reasons? I haven't read them, mainly because my patience has worn thin with the load times.

I have to agree, this site has yet to be as great as the last version. The message posted pic with Sub-Zero for example, is over 200k by itself. That is easy to fix.
It's buggy, it is missing features, the Search program plainly does not work period.
I'll consider a flawless account after this thing is finished.

Oh and by the way, before some 15 yr old punk comes in and says our net connection sucks, I have Charter's top product right now, their platinum 3 meg service, which is plenty for any page.

I have the frrezings myself and I had to install mozilla firefox (even I absolut hate this shit) to even be able to navigate through these forums here. I am a programmer myself and this ist just crappy programming going on here nothing more nothing less. and yes I am visiting other sites now and come back here less often because the new version sucks compared to the old one.

but on a serious note, I have sbc/yahoo dsl and I too get frozen for a second or two, although it's not by much, it is annoying.

Why did they upgrade? they coulda just left it at version 6, we were actually about to discuss on the forums without any problems then

Just to let you know, all I ever use is Firefox, and it changes nothing I've said.
