Lie mai is not confirmed, she is my favorite character of mkda, but she is not confirmed. Its unlikely that they will put lie mai and mellina in, they really resemble each other, + Kitana and Quan chi are the next people to be in mkda, so shell be out. I love lie may, I really do.

somebody saw a pic of mileena in psm, and somehow got the idea that li mei is back. There is no indication, nor any confirmation, from ANY magazine or website, that Li Mei is back as a playable character.

Yes, Li Mei has been confirmed. By one of the most accurate inside sources we have(konqrr), who has never been wrong as of yet.

But believe whatever you want. Don't make threads like this anymore.

If she does end up being back, its a damn shame. She was one of the most boringly written, worst dressed, rehash weaponed, characters ever. I'd really need a list of someone spouting her strong points to understand why anyone liked her.

If there's anyone that appeared to be a filler, it was her.
My only solace was seeing her boobs bounce when she was kicked, which even as a group of polygons is amusing.

Midway's already said that it was Mileena in that pic. As for her being confirmed, she is. Now before a million of you start crying out about Boon's stupidity, here's how she is confirmed: SHE WILL BE IN KONQUEST ALONG WITH EVERY OTHER CHARACTER IN MK EVER!!!!!

Oh yeah, just as a note, Li Mei sucks. She's good in terms of competitive play, but as a character, she lacks any sort of depth whatsoever. She has a generic look, a generic storyline, and nothing which makes her important to the MK:DA storyline at all. Thank you.

Frankly I hope Li Mei does not make a return, they can better use the slot for a more important and/or interesting character storyline wise. Basically her story is a dead-end no matter whose endings turn out true.

When did Midway confirm that THAT picture was Mileena?

I don't care if she comes back or not - but if it's at Kitana's expense... heads will roll.

Bottom line is, I don't know why they'd bring her back. No two characters will have the same weapons, right? We DO know, without vague back-room confirmation, that Mileena is not only back, but has Sais in her picture.

Li Mei used Sais in MKDA, and I doubt they'd change her weapon *just* to bring her back without copying her obvious inspiration, Mileena.

If Li Mei *does* return, it would be to satisfy the T&A needs of the Mortal Kombat fans whose first game in the franchise was Deadly Alliance. She was complete story filler.

I won't say I hope she doesn't come back - I don't wish that, ever, as characters have fans - but I can think of others I'd much rather see... and so far, only one of them is unconfirmed :) (Hint Keywords: Princess/Noble/Gorgeous/Elegant/Deadly/FANS!!)

well, one thing, ITS LI MEI NOT LIE MAY, and secondly, yes li mei has returned, and dont go off saying "oh fuck you, yoiu aint got no motherfucking proof you fuckface" well so happens it has been confirmed by someone in midway, i dont remember who but she has returned.

Yet the exact same thing could have been said about Scorpion since MK4.

Did it occur to you people that her story will advance? Think about it, how long did it take us to discover... well, anything about Subzero other than he was an assassin? It takes games to really develop a character, so let's see what happens. If the tree doesn't produce any fruit this year, than you may cut it down.

Kel-X (another supposed insider) claims that Li Mei is not confirmed and hints that Tanya may have returned. I'd rather have Tanya than Li Mei honestly.

konqrr claims the pic in psm of mileena kicking kenshi is proof that li mei is in the game. whether she is in the game or not, and i hope li mei is not as she sucks, you can clearly see fangs in the pic of the woman kicking kenshi. i have several photo-enhancing programs and enlarged the pic with no blockiness over 400%. you can easily tel she has fangs. its mileena's 2nd, not li mei. if li mei is actually in the game that pic is not the proof. bare in mind he also said the pic was kitana at first, too.
