Seriously at first this would sound stupid, but wait a second and listen. Midway has had many great games in their past and for me their fighting games rock. So why not put the fighters together in a kof style combat. Dare say even get capcom involved. Ive always had dream of a Ryu vs scorpion fight. Or even better use NAMCO to get rights to asaroth! what do you think!

Hopefully never. MK has it's own unique theme, and characters from other games just wouldn't fit right. KOF works becuase the games some of the fighters were taken from all had the same setting and style. I couldn't see someone from, say, Tekken fitting into MK's world. I didn't like Soul Calibur's cameos from the likes of Link.

I hope it never happens. Games that do that only do it because their game isnt selling as good so they put another game in the same situation together and try to get both fans to buy 1 game, well thats what i always thought. Mk sells enough by itself and doesnt need to feed off of another games success. Thats just me

It would be something like this

To answer it, NEVER [I hope]

Sprites are too different, the fighting styles etc. are different and special moves are different and mk has fatalities....so it just wouldn't fit.

There are very few people from other games that fit into the MK universe. Spawn would be ok, but even that would be a stretch. Nobody else though.
except for maybe Kazuya, Heihachi, Jin, or maybe Lei Wulong (He's kinda like shang Tsung)

I hope that Midway will never get desperate enough to mix MK with other games. Only way I can see this working is along the lines of joke characters and we just 'looooove' those.

Against Capcom or Street Fighter and Marvel it would be no contest. MK is obviusly the superior franchise both in characters and gameplay. Though it would be a good idea to have MK vs Killer Instinct or at least have characters like fulgore, spinal, glacius, cinder, sabrewolf and thunder in an MK. But one can only dream until that day.
(doesn't cinder look a lot like blaze from MKDA)

Ok one, Capcoms fighting franchise wipes the floor with MK, I'm a Capcom fan first, MK second.
Two the only guy that they can fit into MK from another game is the guy from Psi-Ops.
Three, before you start flaming me about my first statement think. Everytime a fighting game comes out, which other fighting game, in terms of characters is it compared to? Street Fighter. And if you didn't know that the core concept for MK was based off of Boons favorite fighter, Street Fighter then please shut up. Street Fighter had the most diverse cast of characters and that's why everything has to stack up to it to be considered great.
