During the assault on Shang Tsung's palace all of the Earthrealm warriors were down exept for Raiden, Sub-Zero, and Frost. We know where Raiden was during that time, but where the hell was Sub-Zero?

Do you think Frost died before the assault on Shang Tsung's palace and Sub-Zero decided not to fight so that he may bury her? Why do you think Sub-Zero would abandon his allies, and if they died how will he deal with that?
