I think all characters who sucked at one point could be revived as something better. I hate Rain with a passion, but I think they could do something really good with him. It's the old characters we keep seeing in every MK that were never awe-inspring to being with that annoy me. If we were to see Stryker back, I really wouldn't mind.

Jax - good character, never developed.

Sonya - No problem with her, but she needs to be completly revamped, and I do mean completely. I'm just sick of the old army-gal.

Kano - Was bored with him from day 1. I was disapointed to see him return in mk3, as well as MKDA.

Baraka - Horrible design + horrible story = boring character.

Meat - No explanation needed.

Mavado - Sorry guys, but he seemed kinda flat to me. I don't seen any reason to revive this guy.

Frost - Like Mavado, she just didn't thrill me.

granted she could be a very troublesome character to face in MK4, but my main problem with her was her story and her uninspiring moves. plus her ending where she ended up being a turncoat bitch really pissed me off... liu kang blowing up grossed me out.
