Technically, Superman doesn't beat Captain Marvel. Superman is getting his ass kicked until Captain Marvel realizes a nuclear bomb is coming, overcomes the mind control (with persuasion by Superman), and then sacrifices himself (by shouting SHAZAM! (back into his human form Billy Batson)) so the lightning can detonate the bomb higher in the air before it hits the ground.

You know, after seeing Baraka in action, I'm thinking he is going to be one of my first options as well. I truly love what they have done to him for this game (not that he was ever boring before, it's just that he looks better then ever now).
