Which Characters are Classics in your opinion ?!

Everybody made his/her own idea of Mortal Kombat. I want to know everyone's opinion of the MK Classics.

My Classics:

Raiden- obviously, the god of thunder is an irreplecable character of Mortal Kombat. He has been part of almost every games (except MK3) and has an important place in the MK Storyline.

Sub Zero- the only character who was part of every MK games. And a classic from MK1.

Scorpion- as popular as Sub Zero, maybe even more. He is more than just an elemental ninja... the spear move adds a lot to this character.

Kitana- a very developed storyline making her an ally or foe to many characters (Liu Kang, Reptile, Mileena, Sindel, Goro...). She is the most developed female.

Liu Kang- the champion of Mortal Kombat. And being an ally to Kung Lao added to his storyline.

For me Classics are ALL MK1 and 2...

MK3 are oldies... not classic yet

Sub-Zero and Scorpion because they define the kind of rivalry the makes the MK story compelling.

Kitana and Mileena for the same reason. Kitana for the reason listed by YingYeung. Mileena for her duplicitous nature and for the teeth.

Raiden because he is the essential "voice" of MK. And because he is a thunder god. Just cool.

Reptile. He was the original hidden character. I loved his special moves and fatalities in MK2.

Kung Lao. He is the most original "hero" character introduced. His hat rocks. I guess Liu Kang gets props for being the first, but I always found him dull.

Sindel. Because of her look, and because she was introduced as the "Bride of Shao Kahn". A very original character indeed.

Goro. He epitomized the "giant-monster-smash-everything" sub-boss character type. Actually, I dig all of the Shokans (yes, even Sheeva).

Shang Tsung. I thought he was the best fighting game boss ever when I played MK1 for the first time. An old man sorceror who can shapeshift. How cool is that? I liked him in MK2, as well.

Kabal. The life-support mask, the hookswords, the dash spin. He was one of the more interesting characters to come from MK3.

Baraka. I can't think of a valid reason. I just like him.
