Before you reply with a snarky "all of them" comment, just pick the ones you feel are characters that just have no place in the game, and preferrably give a reason why as well.

But, well, this thread is supposed to be a little silly... because we're talking about silly characters and such.

For me:

Plastic Man - Man, I LOVE Plastic Man. He's basically a stand-up comedian version of Mister Fantastic.... which is why he doesn't belong in a serious fighting game.

Captain Marvel - Billy Baston is a little kid who yells "SHAZAM!" and turns into a Superman reject. While his history with Superman as a comic book rival might make for a good few fights in the game, he just doesn't have the visuals or the origin to make him fighting game material.

Aquaman - Now, Aquaman is sort of a joke character anyway. He's the guy everyone made fun of because his power is to talk to fish. Sure, in the comics he's now suitably dark and grungy and has his hook arm.... but that doesn't change the fact that his power is to talk to fish. I have a problem seeing that ability come in handy in a fighting game.

Atom - I like the Atom, I do. He and his ex-wife were the focus of one of the darkest, most pscyhologically traumatizing DC stories ever... but his superpowers don't translate well into a fighting game. He has the ability to shrink. Not exactly fighting game material.

Superman - Yes, I know he's already confirmed... he has to be. He's DC's "mascot". But that doesn't change the fact that this guy, as far as I can tell, never took a martial arts lesson in his life and that his combat strategy in the comics is "hit 'em hard.... if they get up, hit 'em hard again." The fruit-of-the-loom costume isn't my cup of tea either. Perhaps they should go with his all-black costume from the Superman Rebirth series. Or the electric blue Superman.
