Personally I liked them both equally, they are both my children.
Any thoughts?

MKD imo, it lasted longer and was more fun being able to roam through cities and various MK places.

Wow yeah, good opinion.

I liked MKA. But, MKD was good too. I gotta say it's even with me.

Wow. The Konquest modes really do even out, because mk:d's konquest was improved on from mk:da. You could roam around more in deception, and look at familiar faces. In Armageddon, obviously they took the next step and you were able to attack enemies with a decent move set. Yeah, mk:a has the better Konquest, but that all depends on how "you" liked the konquests of these games.

It's hard to say as both have their strong points and weak points, both of them having some of the same weak points.
What I like about MKD's Konquest was the feeling of exploration through the different realms. I also liked to go around punching people.
As for MKA's Konquest, it was shorter and more on the linear side, but it was still fun as well.
Both Konquests suffered from characters who are shoved down our throats as the main heroes of those games instead of naturally progressing them to those roles.

MKD by far, MKDA's was soooo hard. I nearly did Frost's the last combo a hundred times just to get Mokap and Blaze. It was a job near the end, not even fun.

MKA by far, MKD's was good but A. too dragged out B. had not form of interaction in the konquest mode other then talking and C. overall wasn't nearly as fun, good gameplay wise as MKA's was.
I thought MK:DA's concept was fun btw, too short and easy but fun at the same time learn the concepts of the game.

Well I was thinking MKDA's combo teaching system laid out the foundation for the games MKDA through MKA

Personally I do enjoy MKD because of the freeroam and Shujinko.
Yes I like Shujinko alot as a character.

IDK, I guess I prefered MKA simply because your were taven when you fought and you didn't morph into some other fighter. And you really didn't have to go through a tutorial for every mission. I did love how you could roam around in MKD. When it comes to characters though, Taven gets the gold. He had more of a personality and had picked which side he was on.
MKA Konquest: 1
MKD Konquest: 1/2

Depends, If you're someone who would like a konquest based on a good story, than MKD is for you.
If you're someone who likes a konquest with better and more gameplay, than MKA is for you.
Personally I had more fun with MKA's konquest. So im going with MKA.

Yeah, well that too. Since the next two MK's went down the same route, that was a IMO a big help.
When I first played MK:DA, I didn't like it to be honest...then I practiced a few hours and said this is awesome lol.
It seems this is more a matter of opinion, since you can be more inclined to exploring then fighting. You can have more fun getting lost then fallowing certain path, etc.
But taking into consideration the elements, there is just no doubt that more effort was putted into MKAs Konquest, and in an overall result, you have a much better “Konquest game” then the one seen in MKD, esthetically and game play wise.
I love both, but I think MKAs Konquest is superior in every aspect. Perhaps the only thing I really missed from MKD were those huge worlds and searching for items and uncovering secrets and info by talking to people.
But you have a much better and well elaborated story in MKAs konquest (despite the “holes” you come across because of no bios), superior graphics and more details, more polished arenas/worlds, polished enemies, more fun special moves and gameplay mechanics, etc. Aside from all that, we got excellent voice acting, something MKDs konquest lacked severely (with a few exceptions), and characters in this game had more personality and were more believable..
Overall, MKAs Konquets is superior to MKDs, but in the end, what truly matters is what game you had more fun with.
I had LOADS of fun with MKDs Konquest, but I only played it twice. MKAs Konquest I have played it a lot more....a lot.

Also, I enjoyed the fact that MKA's was a good amount as far as length. MKD's was wayy too dragged out IMO.
I will say this though, I liked the fact that we got to explore other realms in the MK universe.
It got even better in MKA.

MKD's is better because the free roaming and something none of you have mentioned:the side tasks and its WAY longer and more enjoyable to me at least.MKA's was fun and all but it was just to short and no side tasks so in my opinion the better one was MKD's.
