For me i'd have to go with Drahmin and probley Scorpion...
I seem to lose fighting most peoples Scorpions, mostly cause of his moves, I dont know why but even when people like to sword whore, and I know what 2 moves he's going to do lol and for some reason I let them do it (slight exaggeration), but I think I may have a way of putting the smackdown on "some peoples" scorpions.
Drahmin....*Looks down and shakes his head*, it dont seem to matter what I throw at him, I just can't seem to stop him. It's like I get nervous or something and I end up blowing my breakers and handing over a win to whom ever I might be fighting...
So who's your curse character? Pretty much everyone ends up having one, there's got to be at least one fighter that brings out the worst in you...
Kabal's u+2 gets me a lot of times.
Drahmin's just too damn safe!
But for these characters it's good to turtle them IMO.
*NAKM*
Sareena!!!
Kabal n Movado!! U2....
n Kak!!!! lololol.....but I took Noob when ppl took kak!!
Kabal and Mavado- Mavodo's rope escapes and attacks get me and Kabals spin rapes me almost everytime even though I know it's coming.
Also u2 is a pain.
Kung Lao and Quan Chi: Both weapon stances fuk with me everytime. Damn 50/50 combos.
Sareena and those damn knives

it aint about the carachter its about the player . all you have to do is adapt to the situation .

Nobody .
it aint about the carachter its about the player . all you have to do is adapt to the situation .
Thats not true man. At the same skill level (lets take high level for example), its ALWAYS the character rather than the player. There is a reason why most ppl pick sareena, dai, scorp or drahmin. Cause they are top 4.
There aint NO WAY shujinko or kai gonna adapt to BLAZE!
Tekken 4: Jin/Steve
Tekken 5: Nina/Bryan/Steve
MKA: Sareena/Dai/Scorp/Drah
MKD: Bo/Dai/N/S
Those were the characters that dominated in each of the game and were MOST picked for obvious reason. A player can only do so much. At same levels of skills (which is mostly the case), the characters picked dominate the outcome of the match.

But it can also translate to you man. If you take Sareena, how many curse characters you gonna get? NONE!
Just another example why at the same skill levels, its the character rather than the player.

I know first hand that Bryan and Xiaoyu are my most absolute most powerfull I can use, Jin also very very powerfull but he wouldn't be my first pick, even fighting someone who really knows wtf they're doing. Actually, hes really not that hard to counter, but Bryan would be my first pick, then Xiaoyu and then probley Law. Nina is pretty tough cause she's just a rude mean kick you in the nuts kinna bitch lol and Steve has some moves too.
I might get my ass handed to me on mka, but I only wish tekken was online, my Bryan is one mean mofo, I kinna consider him my croudpleaser lol
I'm a beast on tekken3 and tekken tag, i have tekken 5 but ive been an mk freak sense...well sense mk1 lol and i wasn't really impressed with tekken 5 to be honest.
Im just making quick posts to spend time since i got a killer SORE THROAT!
Anyways, ever wonder WHY the player chooses A PARTICULAR character?
Its only because the player has limitations while playing with certain characters and he wants a better chance at winning by picking a TOP TIER CHARACTER. No matter who the player is and how good he is, he will always resort to top tiers in the heat of the battle cause he understands that he himself can only do so much. He will resort to TOP TIERS cause he MUST, not because its a choice. Else he will lose the series. There are also random bad matchups where the dominant character isnt a top tier but its a very small percentage. Its mostly all about the top tiers.
So, to put it in even broader sense, get all the BEST players, and pit them against each other. It will ALWAYS be about the top tiers. You wont get to see Kai vs Sareena or Shujinko vs Dai matchups.
Bottomline: Its the character, NOT the player.
Schumacher aint gonna win a F1 race in a VOLVO!
Scorpion... Fw1, Spear.......... Unbreakable
Sareena.... knifes !!
Kabal and Mavado!! Up2....
hahaha .... same as Wiido !!!!
lol ok you two, let me sum it up for both of you lol
your both right, thats like asking, what came first the chicken or the egg? lol
But no on a real note, it takes 2 to tango. Every "player" plays with a certian style and chemistry that is almost unit to them. Everyone has they're fighters that they're best with, and unless your new to the game, your not going to just pick a fight, without having a reason for picking that one.
So it takes a good "player" to use certain fighters, and it is that fighter that the player uses to it's full potential. So with that argument, it's 50/50 guys...or 100/100, sense you have to be 100% knowledgable with 100% of the moves and abilities that the chosen fighter can do...
If anyone doesnt know here, i use subzero exclusively and hence toughest characters to play are the obvious ones: top 3
My curse characters are a GOOD Sareena and Dai most definitely.
Next in line is Scorpion, who is also hard as hell but easier to approach.
Sareena and Dai are just too good of turtle characters who can also be on the offensive and be safe at the same time (Knives and Drop). Sub lacks any good long range offence and this is the department where the battle is lost for him.
Either way, i love playing all 3 of those cause its so damn challenging.
Oh, and Boston's mileena is a curse character for my sub. And i wont even say its the character here. He is a better turtler than me, and a better player as well. So no excuses.
Even though ppl put Drahmin at no 4, he hasnt given me EXTREME trouble. I think sub can definitely hang in with him.

anyway i hope you get better . i hate sour throats .

Point is i have no curse carachters . then again i use the whole roster unlike some of us .
I used to struggle against Frost until I found you could duck her teleport and duck block her ground freeze, LOL. Good Ermac players gimme a hard time too (RIU's is rape), and anyone with tricky spear attacks (like Jade, Sindel, Shinnok).
**waits for some lame fat lazy american response.**
I love how most of you guys never mention Tanya. WHAT EVER.
my curse character is Versatile. he can pick up just about any character and own w/ them.
And the reason i didnt mention tanya cause who else picks her besides you and Nakm. I dont really remember. Same case with subzero. Does anyone even pick him anymore? You may bitch about my subzero (of course i wont drop him) but how many subzero players are there? Or what about a good Kenshi? Karate is also one of the few good Lao players. The 4 i mentioned however are the prime picks.
Anyways, my point was only to imply that at the highest level (or any equal levels of skill) its the CHARACTER, rather than the player.
Oh, and did i mention that Americans are FAT and LAZY!
