So, you want every fighter to be the same strength? That's not a good idea. Everyone has different characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses about them. Some have advantages, like Scorpion being really strong, and some have advantages (I can't think of one now) being really defensive.

Yes MK6 MUST be more balanced. I'm not saying they all should have the very same moves... that would be silly... But something that really sucks in DA is that if you play as Cyrax for example you will be doomed against a better fighter like scorpion or Bo' Rai Cho... And then you'd know that some of your favorite characters can't be a choice, if you want to win because they're too weak... And that shouldn't be that way... I mean, they can still be strong or weak in attack or defense but they really have to balance it...

Maybe a good idea for MK6 would be the rock-paper-scissors system with special attacks, in that way they can obtain more balance and the special attacks will play an important role again... don't you think==

I don't think there is such a thing as a balanced Mortal Kombat game. Hopefully MK 6 is more balanced. I don't know about you but I had enough of Sonya Blade going "Steven Segal" on my butt with those sticks.

This thread just sounds like people that can't beat a certain character with their favorite character, or they just have a hard time beating that certain character.

YES! It needs to be way more balanced. Balance doesn't really effect me once I master the game but there should be no reason why some characters are more powerful than others. That makes the game stale because people will look at a tier list and only play with top tiers. Only a few will learn how to play low tiers and that makes competition stale. Top tiers vs top tiers = boring. But I have a feeling it will be. Atleast not anymore unbalanced than it already is.

What are you suggesting? That they take away Scorpion's spear and Sub-Zero's freeze?

In case you haven't noticed, Scorpion and Sub have other moves besides those. And, have you ever heard of the block button? It might be a painful stretch for your poor little index finger, but I think you can do it.
Also, Sub-Zero is not top tier in DA, even though he should have been! But NO! Ed's got his head too far up Scorpion's ass! Watch out, Ed! He doesn't need a lighter to make specter flame farts!
