I just watched it again for like the 100th time and it is extremly awesome like the fire cobra to raiden was sweet. But its stupid that raiden and shang were revived so quick being that it looked like quan snapped shangs neck and raiden was out of it. But they all got up so quick. Also I don't think DK would start running at them either. I think he should of walked. Idk just suggestion but its f*ckin sweet as hell I loved it.

I absolutely agree!!! And what's even worse.. They supposedly managed to beat all the corpses and bodies you see in the intro movie.

I agree with Qveve, the story is dissapointing, shujinko is dissapointing... No wonder WHY this game's called "Deception" huh??...

dissapointing but not to be hated they said it was going to be better this time but I kinda enjoy more the DA one (no its not because i hate liu kang) the graphics are awesome! but can we get an unsuspecting fight. I mean the DA vs Raiden fight was awesome but too predictable.

IMO there was 2 ways to go about the intro...

The first way being introducing all of the character in small viginettes(sp?). Trying to cover them quickly while staying on topic.

or

The other way being, showing what happened with the deadly alliance, how it fell, and how they introduced the new Boss, the Dragon King.


I personally think they made the right move, we will see where all of our new fighters come from, and what happened to the old ones, give it a chance, it is only the intro(jaw-dropping amazing one), not the game itself. Have faith.

I honestly think that the intro was crap. I think that it looked beautiful and everything. But I wanted to know what happened to everyone else in Deadly Alliance, not just the actual deadly alliance and Raiden.

Personally, I love the intro. We don't need to know what happened to Frost. We don't need to see Sonya bite it. We don't need to see a great rendering of Sub-Zero discovering something important. The intro showed everything that needed to be shown, and left you wanting more.

And that is the mark of a great prologue.

I kind of agree.

It did show what was needed to be shown, but it needed deepth in terms of story.

MKDA was not a better intro (graphics), but the story was so much better!

I think (if we have not seen the final intro) that they should show us more of his past story, in the mobie intro, not just pics or text files, is not the same.

I hope this isnt the complete intro, I was ready for something longer and more fulfilling!

If you look at the first vid that had the Dragon King in action, you will notice many "intro" scene parts that were NOT used in the intro vid we saw.

This leads me to think we have not seen it all.

that movie into is off the hook. im glad i was able to download it at the time it was up. the way raiden did what he did was off the hook too. i was so excited. i watched it over and over again like 10 times. hell i might watch it again now :P

Totally agreed. The intro sucked because of the very strong Dragonball resemblance. If I were a Dragonball fan, this would probably be the greatest intro to grace a game, but I REALLY hate Dragonball; it's completely ridiculous. The intro wasn't horrible IMO, but pretty bad. Next we'll see stages where you can hit an oponent and they crash through 3 mountains......

Raiden4ever, I also watched it like 10 times. The Rayden scenes were awesome.

LOL. You really do hate it. But I dont think there is that much DBZ resemblance. Oh well, I ado agree though, that I dislike that cartoon.

The introduction with Shunjinko's voice trhought the battle was great, Raiden's hand to hand fight between Quan Chi and Tsung was excellent.
Raiden's double kick and throw was amazing.
The began to throw fireballs way too much imo. It was all fireballs.
What annoyed me a little is that Shang Tsung looked weak, He got easly defeated by Liu Kang in MKDA's intro until Quan Chi hitted liu Kang. Here again, get owned by Raiden and defeated by Quan Chi. I wish they could make him more deadlier and badass like he use to.

Max I agree!!!! Shang Tsung is so underrated in both intros.

He looks like he cant fight better then the others, but that he does have more power.

That fire snake was amazing!!! My favorite thing of the entire trailer.

MaxDam - Well, it wasn't exactly like Liu Kang had never defeated Shang Tsung before. He is, after all, the Champion of MK1.

Sure. But what I mean is they could have at least made the fights with Shang Tsung more balanced. I don't mind him losing to the Champion or Raiden, but Tsung could have thrown better hits with style.

I think without it, he'd be Shang's bi-atch.

That had to be the most visually appealing part of the entire Intro...that firey cobra laying into Raiden was awesome....plus, it's just always a nice moment when you see the bad guys triumph...don't see it very much...in general.

the intro was alright. the scenes and everything about it was great but i want to know what happened to earths champions. i want to know what happened to kung lao and everyone else. i want to see them fall at the hands of the da. i want to know whose bodies were on the ground when the were zooming in on the palace.


maybe just maybe since some of the people in the prison are earths champions they could have been captured, put in a cell and are waiting to be exacuted.
