I know your still bustin a nut about the smoke throw cheese, but I'm not gonna play more than one match if you keep whorin it. You should play CrustyPussyLips too. He's a friend of mine and has been doin that smoke throw jumpkick inf for about a week now. It'd be funny to see two peeps tryin to duke that out, LOL!

I play on X-BOX Live! at various times, night and day. My Live! screen name is the same as my forum screen name (J8son).
My favorite character is of course Scorpion but I have been having the best luck with Sub-Zero online. I'm going to be branching out into other characters when I have the time to learn some of the more advanced combos.
I only have one rule when playing online: ANYTHING GOES! I mean come on this is a Mortal Kombat game after all. I'll throw you, then throw you again and then knock you into a Death Trap 50 times if that's what it takes to win. These features were put into the design of the game for two reasons:
1) They're fun as hell
2) It keeps the player on their toes.
Remember the turtle method from previous Mortal Kombats? What would online play be like if that was going on all the time. It would kill the fun of the multiplayer.
I never understood people complaining about "He throws to much" or "Every time I'm near a death trap he knocks me into it". No shit!
These are the ones that won't devote the time and practice it takes to actually get good at the game before playing online. If you constantly get knocked into a pit then learn to avoid them. That's part of the talent (and fun) of learning the game.
I'm not saying you need to practice for ten hours, five nights a week but at least remember to have some fun with it.
So in closing I say: Bring it on! IT HAS BEGUN!

I wasn't talking trash, I was only saying that because they were really close games and I bet you figured that you were in for some easy wins. I enjoyed every minute of those games.
