I’m here, and you all know my vote goes to Sonya Blade, the ORIGINAL TRUE FEMALE of Mortal Kombat.

I mean, of all the females out there, Sonya is the one that represents them all the best! You cant beat her character in terms of power when compared to the ones that were mentioned in this thread and all the others as much as I love them all.

Sonya owns them all. Top Tier in every single game. Best in Mk1 and MkDA. No matter how much effort the other chicks give, Sonya kills them easily.

In looks, we all agree by far she is the most original/decent female in the games. She does not need to go around fighting half naked with a stupid bikini outfit like the others (all the others actually BUT Ashrah) do. And, she is the only sexy blond.

In story, she know is one of the most powerful characters story-wise. Why? She leads and commands Earth Forces to battle, has been named head/leader of the team, and she is one of the ORIGINAL chosen warriors. Strongest female out there.

So the point is easy, clear and said:

SONYA BLADE WINS!

I do agree with your originality..However, as games went on people were bored with the same ole' characters, but not with kitana because her story changes alot however on the same level. Sonya however, she saves the humans with Jax yay!!

li mei I dislike a little, I thought she was a Mileena rip-off, but she looks cool in this new mk game.

That girl is Li Mei in her alternate costume (with what seems a slight recolour). I think they're just testing weapons or something.

Anyway, In MK1 I loved Sonya, in MK2 I loved Kitana. In MK3 I loved Jade. In MKGold I loved none of them. In Deadly Alliance, I thought both were great. I thought that Kitana was fantastic because she wasn't overloaded with special moves, and the fact that you had a choice between using her weapons and both her special moves or sacrificing them for her impale was cool. Some people didn't like it, but I felt it allowed me to concentrate on her fighting styles.

Sonya in DA was fantastic, but i've only just started playing as her to be honest, cos I was put off by the fact that she looks like a man.

Li Mei is crap.

Kitana .. Hands Down

ANY other mk female is better than Li mei!

Sonya. The Original and the best

Li Mei just because she is interesting now and her outfit and that Mace Quan Chi had make her look cooler than sonya and kitana.
