It would suck if reptile is the final boss. If he's gonna be a big bad, he better be a nonplayable sub boss.

Reptile was the protector for Kitana not Tsung.

Reptile better be The Dragon King

I would like to see Rep be alot stronger in this game. I don't believe he is the dragon king, I think the light wich lanced through him was the power of the DK and some of the power from the DK was absorbed into Rep's body. I think the DK will be a new unplayable boss.

liu kang or liu's brother. that's why the title is deception, they decieved us all to think it was reptile. reptile would be the protector though.

my reason to think this is because of the DK was reptile, then they already gave out the identity of the DK too early (MK5), which i dont think the makers of mk would do...

i'm not against the fact that reptile could be the dragon king but i just think that the mk team would want to pull of some kind of twist to what we think...

I think it'as Reptile. The Zatterian race could be his descendants and the eggs that have been incubated are the sources of the Dragon Kings essence. Maybe the Zatterian race are the others that were hatched from the other eggs. This final egg is a result of the DK's main essence coming to life once again and it has now taken Reptile to be it's body.

Im thinking that the Dragon King is possesing Reptiles body...just like Liu Kang is possesing Kano's body.

His holy men loyally continued to incubate the egg with the intent of eventually reviving the dead king with the dragon blood. His army allowed themselves to be ritualistically slain and were buried in the pyramid along with their sovereign to be resurrected as well some time in the future. Generations of the Dragon King's holy men had been incubating the egg in secret ever since. As the prophecy had been told through the ages ... "Upon the birth of the last Great Dragon will the Dragon King return." Reptile tracked Cyrax and Nitara to the Lava Shrine as the vampire searched for the orb which bound her to Outworld. Dragon King possesing Reptile's Body? No!
Liu Kang's soul possesing Kano's Body? No!
MoKap killing the Deadly Alliance? A little more probable that the previous things

The Dragon King could also be a sub-plot/side story in MK6. It would be real cool to be able to accomplish two differnt things in this MK. I hope they have the more traditonal tournoment in her also, as the actualy tournoment as sorta lost touch with itself. Actually deception could hint at maybe a few different bosses, but you won't know till the end, or after ytou have fought through them all who the real force behind this new threat on earthrealm is.

Remember raidens ending, how he goes into saying earth must be protected, mentions the dragon king, the vampire people, and something els... Could be that there are multiple threats in the game, but only after you beat each threat does the real power make itself know.

I'd like to see Reptile as the protector for the Dragon King. He could be the sub-boss and could've gotten stronger from the rays that came out've the DK's egg.
