My favorite is Tanya.She was the only character in MK4 that I could beat Goro with and she was the only character with an interesting story.In MKD,she has great specials and awesome styles.She is very cheap and can have some pretty big juggles.Plus she can turn invisible(which is useless against CPU).Her story reminds me of Rain's.She allies with evil out of fear of death.Rain did too.

Tanya. I love her story, her characteristics and history, her role in the game and her general look. Also her combos in Zi Ran Men and Yue Chuen are easy to pull off. Her weapon is great, her special moves are good and she is just so much cooler than everyone else in the game...

Mine is, obviously, Sub-Zero. After seeing all the endings, I am a little confused as to which Sub-Zero is my favorite though. My favorite new character is Havik, both his ending and the concept of Chaosrealm have really opened up some fresh storylines for the MK universe. (Though, his fatalities could use a revamp for the next game; but, then again whose couldn't? Mortal Kombat: Decapitation anyone?) Someone has one of the best quotes about Havik in their profile. Something like:
"Kabal slew Havik. Havik was impressed."
Can't wait for MK7 to see what Sub, Noob, Havik, and good ole' Shao Kahn have in store for them.

My favorite character used to be Shang Tsung but after the release of Deception I would have to say Tanya is my ultimate favorite. She rocked in MK4 and she kicks even more ass in Deception! I hope the MK team continues to develop this character into a fan favorite!

Mileena, of course. Actually shes been my favorite since her debut. I really am glad to see her return and hope to see her story progress. She needs to be in a new release with Kitana, I want to see that progress even more. Reasons for liking her are the Sai and at the release of MK2 more people were using Kitana so I wanted to be different I guess. Well it has stuck with me til now and I haven't found a character that even has come close to relacing her.

Liu Kang. hes been my fav since MK2. i didnt really like him in MK1 tho but in MK2 he was twice as good and his Dragon Fatality is my fav of them all.
now in MKD i love his zombie look. its just so different. dissapointed he doesnt have his dragon fatality but he does have the funniest fatality of them all imo. especially if u do it on some one like Mileena. hehehe.
his fighting styles r really good and suit him well. at first his 2nd style i was like "wtf?" but its actually really good and powerful. and it just goes well with his 1st style. him having the nunchakus i thought i wouldnt like but im fine with it. i mean cmon now... they owned in MKDA and they still own in MKD. although im not sure if im just trippin or what but i think the Nunchaku's r weaker than in MKDA. i love he still has his 4 special moves. i gotta say im surprised that he has the low fire ball but im glad he does.
ok so thats y hes still my top fav in Deception. now y he has been my fav in past MK's (besdies MK1) is cuz imo he was always the 2nd best strategy wise. imo Sub-Zero 1st but i had more fun playing with Liu than Subby.
now in MKD i still have major fun with him and think Subby is the best strategy wise but i cant say Liu is 2nd best strategy wise in MKD. id have to say Noob-Smoke is cuz even on max difficulty the CPU will fall for the tricks. i just love it! also teleporting is big strategy wise in this one. idont feel like it was that much of a big deal in past MK's. but all those who have a teleporting move can be used very strategically.

Hotaru and Shujinko all the way. Very original concept and most interes-ting styles. Too bad they massacred the konquest mode with Shujinko a little bit.
Shang Tsung is all time fav for one reason. He has a goatie. . I will kill someone in Midway: who was the f-k who cerated the idea that Quan Chi could have ever have a chance against the one and only MK tournament champion?
I strongly despise Liu Kangs return, but he was one of the best. Hes just simply annoying in MKD with the living again ending.
