Common people,
from the first day that mkd comes out all the sites like gamespot and ign and mk websites like
davesmk or totalmortalkombat will work their ass
off to get you the latest cheats, walkthroughs and
guides. You will probibly get everything you need,
from these websites(even some stuff that wont be
in i-guide or strategy guides.)

You have a point there, but i'm planning on getting the iGuide right when I get the game, so I'd rather know how to do the fatalities and where everything is right then and there. If they charge like $30 for that shit, hell no, I'll wait until it comes online then, but if it's cheap then I'll just get it.

...not to mention the forum on this site, GameFaqs and Cheat Code providers will probably be much more helpful than the iGuide or walkthrough book.
If I had to have one I'd get a book because wandering to and from your computer/DVD player is a pain in the butt when you haven't got a printer.
I often thought this myself, until I found myself without an internet connection for about 2 years, then I bought the books.
Peace!

i need it, cuz im a fan... a freak!
collect stuff!

I'll be playing it on my computer though lol, so it's like all I'd have to do is stick in the DVD and boom, print out that shit and I'd get it. But who knows, this is a hard decision. Spend money on something that I need, or wait for a few DAYS until people have it online, where I can get it for free. Choices...choices...choices...

the only reason i would by the i-guide is for the extra content... but i like the good old game books by brady, plus it comes with a premium item (hopefully its the sound track... what eles would it be really?)

Yes thats correct. Me unlike some of you people, cant get on the net when I want to. I have to wait until the cpu is open and I share it with my dad. The i-guide is a great addition though because I have a portable DVD player. All I need to do is pop it in and Im good to go whenever.
Dont get me wrong, I love FAQs but sometimes they say things I dont like. Like saying that its easy to beat someone when I cant do that.

It isn't just about looking for codes and faqs guy.It is also a nice addition for mk collectors etc etc.You don't wanna buy the guide, then don't.Alot of us here collect MK stuff period. So there's the answer to that. Now go to gamefaqs and patiently wait for your faq.wink
