the most original i would have to say is goro, iv'e never seen a character like him before ever,

All characters are original. They all have their own story, specials and stuff. Well, maybe except the ninja clones “looks” and the “clone projectiles”.

I’ll say the ones who impressed me the most:

Shang Tsung: He is an evil sorcerer who can morph. That’s just very cool.
Goro, Motaro and Kintaro: Cool sub-bosses.
Shao Kahn: Excellent look.
Sonya: I just loved her since Mk for being the only and first chick in the games. Her moves and looks kick ass.
Kitana and Mileena: I love their looks and powers. Mileena has one of the best stories ever!
Sindel: Evil, gothic and a witch with awesome specials.
Johnny Cage: A cool movie star with a nut punch and shadow kick.
Scorpion and Sub: Mostly cause of their story, looks and powers.

There are so many more but I'm too tired to write about each one.
