I think it's crazy to ask other people who your favorite should be... that's something that's based on personal opinion, you know? You'll see who's your favorite after you've played everyone in the game, it's just simply who you like the best...
But anyway, out of the names you posted, I personally think Hotaru sucks ass, and Darrius is pretty awful too. Noob-Smoke is hard to master, so out of your choices I'd say you should go with Ermac or Baraka. See again, this is MY opinion and what I like you may hate, so don't expect to get too much out of this thread...

i rlly like hotaru and i want to play him but everyone says he sucks what so bad about him but 1 thing i need to know is that he has a combo??

Chose Ermac!

Hotaru is a pretty good character once you have mastered him. I find him to be very fun to use.

yeah, I think he is a cool character too.

Mileena is really fun to use, and i always pick her, but Ermac is also cool to use

noob-smoke, hotaru, ermac, darrio and baraka
Noob~Smoke-Remember this, Forward Forward A, Down Back A, and Down Back Y, Both characters can use these 3 special attacks.
Hotaru-Hes Fun, I like his Specials but not his Costume, His Alt makes him look like a soldier. His attacks are wierd but you'll get used to them.
Ermac-Ok this guys good, only problem, he doesn't have his fireball moves. Hes supposed to be the freaken Magic and Fire guy.
Darrius-This guy is cool, hes a mix between Gordon Freeman and Morpheous. His specials are crazy, and His alt has hair.
Dairou-Just incase you were talkin bout this guy instead of Darrius. We'll hes like an assassin, and he can attack fast and hard. His weapon has like 5 1 button attacks that make him do 3+ hit combos. Don't mind His baldness.
Baraka-what I thought would be my favorite character. You will use his blades more than you will anything else. He has another style that just like pushes the opponent and does big damage though.
Bottom line
Don't Have a Favorite. Have like 9 Favorites and Switch Them Off.
That is what fighting games are about.

Use Scorpion, he has the easiest combos and most special moves.

out of the names you listed, go with ermac to start. he has some pretty easy dial-a-combos, solid damage dealing specials, a good weapon stance, and 2 pretty awesome finishers if you can win with him. hotaru seems easy to pick up, i mean he DOES have a difficulty rating of 1, it's just that you have to unlock him.

My 2 favorite guys are ermac and Noob-smoke because i have mastered them both. I really want to mater Hotaru because his alt costume is awesome and his eyes are whiter than scorpions. That is cool. But I mostly would suggest Ermac.

Yeah and you can see his special moves comming from a mile away. Scorpion is so easy to beat it's not even funny. Just because he's the easiest to play doesn't mean he's the best.
Kenshi is my favorite character, but if I get cheesed by someone I'll pull out NightWolf and cheese the hell out of them. So please... Cheese me.... Average Rank on MKO: 700

uuuh...since none of us are you, we can't even possibly begin to pick your favorite character for you. That's supposed to be something you on your own by playing through with each one and figuring out which one fits your play style.

Dude seriously why did you make a thread for this? YOu have no opinion for yourself so you have to ask that of others? Do you even have the game? If you don't, whenever you get it, there is a mode called PRACTICE!!! USE IT! That way you can figure out who your favorite character is. Don't ask others who YOUR favorite character is. That's kinda stupid!

And besides I love Jade. Her moves and combos are so easy to execute and so powerful. I also use Scorpion, Sindel, Mileena, and that's about it.

I am greatest when I play as Sub-Zero. I also love to play as Kenshi, Liu Kang, Shujinko, Scorpion and Raiden.
