I loved Nitara. She was a sexy vampire beast, and what's not to like about that?

And reguarding the blood spit, you shouldn't be looking too deep into this stuff. I mean, it's a video game before it's a story-orientated saga. Being cool takes priority over making sense.

Nitara is bad ass man. Her fatality was cool also.

Nitara other then the fact that she is a vampire and have cheap combos didn't bring anything really original to the game IMO.

They did not make it goth like, but at the time I thought it was a bad idea. Now I am happy with Nitara. She was a good character (but sometimes bad weapons happen to good people )

She was more pirate-ish than gothic, IMO. Either way, she was fun to play with.

I kind of agree that the vampire race concept doesn't fit MK very well, but Nitara is still one of my favorite new characters. Also, I think she has one of the most important roles in the game, because she ties so many story lines together. If you think about it, if it weren't for Nitara, Reptile wouldn't have gotten Cyrax stranded in Outworld, so the Special Forces wouldn't have a reason to send Kenshi into Outworld to try to rescue him, only to get stranded himself by Hsu Hao's destruction of the portal technology or whatever; this whole part of the story gave Sonya and Jax more reason to fight in MKDA other than the usual "save the world" shit.

But I guess that's all beside the point, as they could have thought up a completely different type of character for Nitara's story-binding role.

Nitara is quite cool. I dig her 2nd costume. Don't try to read to much into the story or mechanics- it's only a game. About the blood spit- why does it not fall under gravity? How can she cough up a huge ball of blood? I'd rather see a faster moving, smaller spittle that described a ballistic tajecterory.

I found Nitara was cool. It was about time they introduced a new species into the game that was connected to Outworld and didn't look like a Human. I like how they gave the Vampire thing a new look from the traditional vampires you read about in mythology or see in movies.

I don't see a problem with the blood spit attack, but just a thought, what if they changed the color of the spit after she drinks the blood of an opponent that doesn't have red blood?
Example; she does her bite and throw on Blaze/Reptile/Cyrax and for the rest of the round, she shoots out orange/green/black blood instead of red?

the blood spit is quite simple
its fired at great speed, thus making it have an impact, plus too much blood can be poison.


she is one of the greatest new characters in MKDA, she's fast, has great combos, and her storyline wasn't that bad either

Hmm..then i'm one of the few who didn't like Nitara, I didn't think it was time for another race to make an entrance.

I think Nitara's one of the best of the newer characters. A vampire was a good idea, and she's very sexy, cool and pretty unique.

Having many different types of character keeps MK interesting, and everybody has ones they like, and ones they dont. I never liked the cyborgs myself, but think we should keep one around for diversity, and because they do have their fans.

I like Vampires, and everything about them, so I thought she was/is a pretty good charcter. It give variety to the MK Series, new species to co-exist with the ever present ones in MK.

I thought she was pretty cool and I hope that she returns with a few vampire buddies.

Nitara was hot, but that's all I like about her.

Frankly, I thought she was pretty cool. Pretty integral to the story as well, she manipulated Reptile, which caused SK's death, and then Cyrax, which got reptile all revenge crazed, which led to him being turned into the DK, or whatever.

the blood spit was the same exact thing as reptile's acid spit just different color ...she is such a cheap character..Mavado would of made a better vampire he had the look for it... nitara just looks so plain n gay like 5 year-old drew her

You like Mavado and not Nitara? Fine I can see people not liking Nitara, but Mavado is on of the worst characters in MK history!

i didnt say i liked him i said he would of made a better vampire then nitara..yea mavado sucked wit that stupid rope trick..

nitara is great, i loved the concept of a vampire being in mortal kombat, and i love the back+triangle, R1, square, square, square, x, x, down, back, o in fu jow pai, man that combo deminishes the enemies health to nothing, i thought she was an excellent addition... though i wouldnt like another vampire in the series sadly, because it might hurt the series badly, but i think nitara should stay as the vampire we all know and love

vampires are cool. and even when they suck, they suck blood in a good way. mmm

Damn, BAV thinks every new character is the worst in MK history when in fact they are some of the best
