nightwolf is the reason why mk3 sucked, so to answer the post creaters question, NO DONT BRING HIM BACK!

nightwolf and stryker both sucked and made the series look bad.

The only way I'd want him to return is in werewolf form, kinda like he got stuck between his animality and his human form.

Werewolf-Nightwolf would kick ass.

you guys are basing nightwolf on the nightwolf on mk3... you know midway can make him anew. new looks, new moves, new everything... the only thing that would remain the same is his name.

like take kung lao for instance... he was ok in mk2, and then he became kinda chumpy in mk3 with a 'different' ensemble, and after mkda, hes like awesome and badass!!! you see how views on characters can change? perhaps that can be done with nightwolf... and i do agree he did suck in mk3, but i would give him a chance.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind at all if Nightwolf was back in the next MK. In fact, I prefer they bring back old characters and give them makeovers or whatever instead of always bringing new peeps in the game. They could bring back some old ones, it's cool.

First off... yes to Nightwolf, HELL NO to Stryker. The heroes are trying to save the world, not help little old ladies across the street. They could always use a shaman, not a traffic cop.
I agree with Neumilo's reasoning on the makeover thing, and I especially like ShoeUntied's idea for a storyline for him, since the MK Universe seems to be very hero-heavy.

Nightwolf would rock.... but i think he needs a diff look because that blue spandex thing and black leather vest was really gay. What would his fighting styles be? Imagine his flaming axe in 3d :O

I think it would be an interesting twist if somehow he became posessed by an evil char or something....
