Maybe Sub-zero. Since He has reformed his clan to protect earth realm form invaders or something like that. Well his, or was it frost, ending took place. I think it was sub-zero's ending, and if thats the case, then frost might be one of the hidden DA characters. But this is all merely speculation.

God, thats a hard one.....my vote, if he's not on the Dragon King's side, is Sub-Zero.

I like Sub Zero a lot. However the problem is that he has a lot of side quest to handle. The first and foremost is that if subzero and scorpion together exist then they will be involved with each other in some way or other. Then there are the cybers. I beleive it will be just too much for our ice ninja.

Frost should be made available as a hidden character. I like that thought.

Thats true about Sektor, and that also falls into Sub-zreos's ending as well, about defending the earth. hmmm... I't could very well be Nightwolf, since Raiden looks to be out, and well i can't think of anyone else being in the postion to be the choosen one.

its really hard to tell..the tital deception says it all...sure, sub-zero may have had a good ending in mkda...but whos to say he isnt just gaining earth realms trust only to screw them over?

and whos to say the hellraiser scorpion wont step up for earth realm? afterall, he has nothing to loose.

as i said earlier..its hard to tell at this point..the entire roster isnt final yet..even then, it wil probably be someone we expect..then again, maybe not.....

My thoughts...

Sub-Zero -- excellent character...however I think that he has something else in store for his destiny...
Scorpion -- I don't think so...
Liu Kang -- Great to se him back but him being the chosen one...WAY TO PREDICTABLE...and I think ed knows that would piss too many people off. Once again, a differnt future awaits this guy
Ben -- I dunno, possibly but he'd have to have a bit more impact story-wise I think, needs some mystery. Still think this guy is a PHAT addition to MKD and can't wait to use him
Bo Rai Cho -- wouldn't seem right...he feels too much like the Obiwan of the series to be the chosen one...more like the guy to guide him on his path

My guess still stands with Kenshi, he has the story, the look, the mystery and a definable feature (blind fighter)...I dunno why but I think he has a big future with MK.

Otherwise I would have said Kung Lao, but I dunno if that will happen now...

I think Kenshi' story will revolve around Ermac, for obvious reasons. This might be interestng, who ever said a good guy had to win? I'm guessing, and assume everyone else is, that the Dragon King is not realy going to care who is good or evil, if they're in the way they die, simlpe as that.

Well there can be one thing that can be said about sub zero that may be the big brother will return. But then again this will further complicate things for sub zero. I simply cannot find a connecting link between sub zero and the main plot of mk.

Yeah, it would be very cool for one of the good guys to turn evil, and after all Sub Zero's been through (let's face it, he's THE MK character at this point) he may be on the verge of snapping.

I personally think its gonna be kabal, I dont know why and I cant explain it, but ever since his intro story in MK3 where he was "chosen to stay alive" I think that is set in stone for him to be champion done day.

Well, Kabal's MK3 ending did say he was the new chosen one so anything's possible.

Seems like a lot of people don't like him though.

Probably bad memories of having their asses kicked by good Kabal players in the Arcades.

i think we have to think of these mk games as a saga ie: tsung saga (mk1) shao kahn saga (mk2-3) shinnok (mk4) dragon king saga (mk5 to at least 7) yep thats right, i believe the DK will "win" this game.

so as a saga the obvious hero has to be kung lao. his story from mkda was made out as though it kind of passed the mantle of champion from liu kang to him.
everyone else had their own sort of side stories to fulfil.
only kenshi, li mei and scorpion were also focused on revenge towards the sorcerers. but we all know scorpy is not a team playa.
if not kung lao then kenshi and li mei are probably next closest to becomming the hero

Well, the Dragon King doesn't necessarily HAVE to win, to be in the 7th one....but I would definitely think he'd be in the 7th one, all this build up to the Dragon King, I don't think they'd kill him off this easily.

I agree. We really need a super boss who sticks around, especially after the last two games having almost disposable bosses.

Unplayable bosses are always more deadly than playable ones.
