It'd be nice to see him back, but he died at Raidens hands. I think it's time for a new Shokan in MK. Kintaro would look badass, and we will see him in Konquest anyway. He should look impressive.

Kintaro was loyal to Shao Kahn. That would be stupid if he now helps the DK. And the new sub boss is not a shokan cuz they're good now.

Yup, Kintaro would be cool, but it woudn't make any sense... if they take a shokan for a sub-boss, than it must be Gorbak, or a totally new one... Goro's dead cause of Saibot, and is deep underlava right now, Kintaro was defeated by Raiden (so he needs good excuses to make a comeback!!) and Sheeva was impaled by Shao Kahn with a sword.. even though most of you already knew all of this, I just wanted to mention it for people who would like to get their Kintaro back for some reason...

..., anyway I'll pray to see Kintaro in Konquest.. and Goro... and Sheeva...

I'm pretty sure Kintaro wans't confirmed dead. His death from Raiden was mentioned in a strategy guide and I don't think it was canon.

I'd like to see Kintaro back as a playable character. With a story like this:
For hundreds of years, the Prince Goro was the greatest Shokan warrior. It was the mighty Goro who defeated Earth's champion in Mortal Kombat and it would be Goro who would lead the armies of Outworld to battle. And the Shokan warrior Kintaro was always seen as second best. However, this all came to an end when Goro was defeated and thought to have been killed by Liu Kang. When word spread that the emperor was seeking a replacement for Goro to represent Outworld in a new tournament, Kintaro eagerly stepped foward. Outwardly, Kintaro sought to avenge Goro and restore the Shokan honor. Secretly, he wished to prove that he was the greatest Shokan and that he, not Goro, should have been general of Outworld's armies. This never came to pass however. Shao Kahn's tournament was merely a ruse to distract the Earth warriors and Earth's defender Raiden. In truth, it would be the Centaur Motaro who would lead Outworld to battle, and Kintaro was just a pawn. After Shao Kahn's invasion was defeated, an infuriated Kintaro intended to murder Motaro, believing this act would restore Shokan honor and prove he was the best. Unfortunatly, Sheeva had beaten him to it and Goro himself had returned and later agreed to sign a treaty with the Centaurs and Princess Kitana. Apalled that the Shokan would agree to peace, Kintaro abandoned the Kuatan lands and wandered aimlessly. Until he was found by the Dragon King. The Dragon King offered Kintaro a place in his army where he'd be at last able to prove his worth. Kintaro gladly accepted the Dragon King's offer and now stands ready to finally step out of Goro's shadow and prove that he is the strongest Shokan of them all

I think they will all return in konquest maybe in a memory since they r dead. I think Kintaro is long gone.

That was not only very well thought out, but nicely written as well. If this is something you do on a regular basis, I say keep it up and we may find you making plots or character bios in future games.

Forget about Kintaro. (no offense) but we have seen Goro a shokan already in 3D. Put Motaro in as a 3D character.

Motaros's tail physics would look pretty nice with MKD's engine.
And XiahouDun, that's a great story for Kintaro. I would love to see one of them as a secret sub boss in MKD.

Kintaro joined Kahn to avenge Goro's death. Kintaro could have been in Deception and had a feud with Noob Saibot to avenge Goro's true death.

man kintaro was bad ass in mk2.. he is also my fav sub-boss.. it would be awesome to play as him in 3-d. sadly it wont happen,but like others said he will most likely be in the konquest mode..

Bring back kintaro, he was my favorite sub-boss for sure. MKD should have 2 sub-bosses to destroy. 1st Kintaro and then new one. MK without Shokan warrior isn't true MK.

Don't tamper with perfection. Kintaro was excellent but let us move on and keep the memories the same. I'd hate it if Midway fuck up Kintaro like they did with Goro in MK4.
