And God, how many times has this thing died already??? People complain about resurrecting dead characters and lame stories, but they try to ignore the fact Scorpion is on the same way. I don’t mean to sound rude or start an argument, but this is just my opinion, :) and the same one of many others.

She is my least favorite character to date next to Liu Kane. I actual smiled and almost laughed when I saw him get killed in the game. How such a wuss as Liu Kane became the champion I have no idea.

Sonya and/or Jax need to die more so than any other character. More than Lui, more than Cage more than anyone. Know why? I doubt anyone could refute the reason...

They are the same damn character, they have the same damn backstory(both hate Kano, both special forces, both chasing Kano, both exploring outworld), the creators even admitted it, sonya was created just to have a female fighter, so they gave her jax's storyline and saved him for Mk2. They always have the same or similar endings/or biographies. It's a complete waste if you ask me.

On terms of story, I kind of agree. They do have the same goals and work on the same base, but so do Kenshi and Cyrax, so, I guess they are a waste too.

And if they are a waste, then Kano and Mavado are also another waste, they just hate each other, hate earth, hate good and hate the SF.

Sub-Zero and Frost are a waste! They have ice powers, they work in the Lin Kei, and they both create weapons with ice! Also the fact, they both fight for earth and for the Lin Kei.

Sektor would be another waste since he is making another army like the one of the DK, more robots? What a waste. And he hates the Lin Kei as much as Quan Chi and Mavado.

Also, Liu Kang and Kung Lao are another pathetic waste. They are from the Temple of the Order of light, they hate Tsung, hate evil, and they are descendents of the great Kung Lao.

Quan Chi and Scorpion are another waste! They just want to kill each other all the time!

Also, Scorpion is a waste since he is 1 of the 100 ninjas of Mk. Count those as a waste as well.

Rayden and Fujin are another complete waste! (WOW; I had never realized how many characters were a waste) they are gods, hate evil, hated Tsung and protected earth.

Dude, characters tend to relate in terms of story, but they DO have their own original personality and story as well! And if only for “relating” in the story, Sonya and Jax are a waste, consider every single MK character a waste.

They are obviously not the same style of characters. They have different personalities, different looks, and yes, the fact one is a man with metal arms, and the other a woman with a thong. Both are originals in their way.
