uh, he said EVERY character from the 6 mk games will be in konquest, if some characters are excluded, i'd call what steve said a LIE... and i dont think MK team wanna exaggerate anything, otherwise they will have one helluva pissed off fan...

I was thinking that same thing. I think it was on this site a little while back, I forget, but it said that during the Konquest mode you travel all over the 5 realms of the MK Universe. Sorry I can't remember where I read that

Too bad alot of the characters (even some MK fighters) in Konquest mode have N64 calibur models :( They really need to work on that.

If they are in konquest mode to teach you things...whats to say they arent hidden playable characters? I mean, if you go against them in a learning session, the character is basically a fighter that you cant readily select.

I think you'll find that all the MK characters will be just walking around in Konquest mode.
Think about it. IF every single Mortal Kombat character was in the game, why aren’t they playable characters?
If they were gonna teach you moves & stuff then the programmers would have had to put in textures, frames and other stuff like that.
I mean come on, I think it'll be something dumb like.....
You walk up to some one like Rain and talk to him.

Rain - "So young one, I hear you want to become a great Mortal Kombat warrior?"

Kid - "Yes"

Rain - "well remember, a true warrior never fights with there mind, they fight with there heart. Now be on your way young warrior. I have things to do."

And that’s it, it’s a let down but if you ask me that’s how it’s gonna end up.

oh, yeah i guess i either imagined it, or misheard someone, i dont care if the characters teach you something or just talk to you like you said, i just want to see all the classics again... i kinda miss them
