Not necessarily. I think MK:DA just has a different kind of complexity. MK2 or any of the other 'classics' are by no means lame or simple. They each have difficulties that deserve their own merrits. So this is no way to judge a player on class ... wait until you've actually faced someone off before you do that. This goes the same for someone calling themselves the 'best' player, that is simply arrogant (I'm not saying you did this, but I've seen it before) - it is usually those who are arrogant who go down crying... there is always someone better than you just as there is always someone worse!

MK2 had the same moves for everyone, minus their special moves. HP, HK, LP, LK. Wow, and you prefer that over every fighter having different moves, not only that, 3 move sets. Now, which one is easy to master? Well, i dont like this issue, if these people want to live in the past, I say lets leave them there.

Yes you are right. I know that MK2 is not lame or simple. But it is on a lower level of graphics, choices, fighting, and difficulty. Which is why I think it is rediculous to say that a game that has improved on all that I listed "just sucks" and then turn around, look in the past and talk about how the old stuff is better...People who instead of playing the games they like, come here to put down a game that most of us appreciate
just because it isn't staying the same way every time, are to difficult to take seriously. So instead of flaming them, I assume that they are lower class...It's so much easier that way.

I never once said MK:DA sucked, I just said that in my opinion I prefer MK2...yes, probably for nostalgia reasons as that is the game that really made me obsessed (MK1 was like a gateway drug). I am one of those hardcore fans that even if Boon took a disc and wiped his ass on it and called it MK I would buy it simply because it is MK (I mean I've been there since the beginning when a lot of the people in this forum were still in their diapers). So I do not disagree that people think MK:DA is good, but I still personally love and will always have a special place for MK2.

1st - Every1 having basically the same moves, just different combos and specials worked in the days of OLD systems. BUT, if they were to have did it in here, it would have gotten big turndown from all "official raters". Not to mention, it would have gotten old way to quick. It is called evolving man
2nd - you can't have th esame thing under good and bad, that's just wrong. I persoanlly don't liek th enew characters excapt Blaze, Frost, and Kenshi.
3rd - Crouching is still only 1 direction. Backdown, or forwarddown. Same way south and west is 1 direction, southwest.
4th - Reptile's new look is awesome, and they probably did it this far, so tey can advance him to a dragon next game with it being a change instead of huge 1.
5th - Yes, they should have had choose your destiny
6th - Now if Shang and Quan you had to fight as a team battle, I could understand the not being able to play with them, but they're not.
7th - And about it being to different from the klassics, It's called evolving again dude.
8th - I to hope that they make a MK:Klassics.
9th - For me, you ave shamed the name Raven.

Some of the things people dont like about the game others do like like I think li mei is a cool character , i like how reptile looks , i like the fighting styles and the weapons , I think the one fatality per character is fine although a couple suck.

I was never into MK before but onve i got MKDA it got me interested enough to get MK gold and to start playing MK trilogy as well as MK2 , but MKDA is by far the best , the others dont compare to it

okay, okay, so they DID fight Cyrax in Annihalation, but when I saw the first movie in the theatre, SHang Tsung said that Liu would be fighting Cyrax, and DA reveals Cyrax's face to look like that guy w/ braids. As for the games, I'll put up later what I'd like to see for MK6.
