Why do people so gladly accept Noob Smokes ending as canon?

OK well basically its like this. Nothing is canon until the next MK. Endings say alot but is all talk and no walk. All Noobs ending is sayings is that Midway is thinking of making Noob the original Sub.
It was stated earlier that you can't change who you are just your status as good/evil ect. That is one sided thinking. By saying that basically means you think Noob is old Sub. Also by saying that is trying to change who noob is......Noob is on a leaning balance beam right now...If it tips one way his ending will be bull and he is still Noob Saibot. If it tilts the other way He is the orginal Sub who got killed and became a wraith. His identity as of now is on the verge of confirmation. So to say he is NOT old sub is wrong and to say he is Sub is also wrong....The only right answer is he might be Noob, a seperate identity or he might be Sub transformed.
And if you want a perfect example of crappy endings that changed someone and was not canon which could stand up against noob being older sub then look at MKDA. Perfect example is Liu Kang taking over Kano's body and becoming Kano Kang or Liu Kano lol. Why didnt people rage on about this actually happening? because it sounded silly and you wouldnt accept it? its not about you its about what midway decides.

I do argee with you. I say keep the Classic Subby/Noob Saibot storyline going but add another twist to it.
Well, Sub-Zero became the wrah we know as Tobias Boon, oh, err...Noob
Saibot.
He is not Sub-Zero anymore, he was, but in the present he is a completely new entity of the netherrealm. PLus, people like his ending, becouse Sub-Zero dies in it. Despite being the most popular character alongside Scorpion, Sub-Zeros death brings such a suprise that people instantly buy it. Notice that Sub-Zeros importance is ever growing. He is the second most powerful protector of earthrealm behind Liu kang.
becouse of the medallion which he seemingly lost to Frost (he could not remove it from her frozen body, or whatever-he does not have it now) and now the resurfacing of the cryomancer armor, he's potential is ever gro-wing. Despite his death (if it becomes canon) he will return, or another Sub-Zero emerbges from the Lin Kuei.
Saibot.

Might seem like i'm beating a dead horse here, but simply put, most endings aren't considered canon because they look into the future, while Noob's is considered canon because it tells about the past. It gives history to the character, just as Bo Rai Cho was given history in MKDA, when we we told he had taught Earth's warriors. Those things are considered canon because they've already happened.

This pretty much covers it. Everytime you beat the game its showing what happens if this specific character wins the tournament, the MK team picks out their favorite (and easiest to build on) parts that don't upset the fans to much and make that "fact" in the next game's back ground information and bio's. Just take it with a grain of salt.

If Noobs ending is true then i personally think it'd be a rip off cause i doubt even wit smokes help he could take subby especially with his new armour and his special medalion.Like come on noob supposedly was killed by Scorpion when he was sub-zero how could stand a chance now?

Why noob-smoke's endin is important is due to the fact that while happenings in the past cannot directly affect the future, they give a platform for said character to move down different paths. Put simply, if it was not revealed that noobsmoke was sub zero original, then if one day he were to realise the error of his ways it would not be possible, because he was never revealed to have even a sliver of good within him, whether in the past or present, while if he was revealed as original sub this would be more possible.
Also, what has been said so far about mk endings which echo the past of a character usually turning out to be canon is reasonable. The future is something we cannot see, while the past is already defined. For example, take Hotaru. Maybe he was killed by Kenshi. Maybe he was killed by Dairou. From the mkd endings we cannot say for sure who he gets killed by, if he even buys the farm at all. On the other hand we take original subzero. We know he was killed by scorpion in mk1. What if we had an ending for maybe scorpion or noob(if noob is really sub) in a future game, and it involved a flashback to how original sub was killed by scorpion. Many poeple say that sub was simply overcome by scorpion's fury. Many people say that scorpion stopped subzero from attacking shang and eventually threw him into a soulnado. Many people, me included, believe that subzero had a death wish, like Hector did in Troy, when he fought scorpion. As in he did it not bothering if he came out alive, and from what i know, bested the spectre by plunging the harpoon into scorpion, and then turned his back to walk away, getting blasted from behind by scorpion, who ressurected. Death wish borne out of world weariness and guilt for killing scorpion. THe point is that it does not really matter how a flashback scene for an mk ending would be like. It would invariably have to end with something canon. No matter how sub gets killed by scorp in the flashback, the bottom line is that he has to die. And that is the key difference between future and past endings. For endings speculating about the future, they are just speculation. No one knows if Tanya was doused with tartakan urine. NO one knows who defeated Dk. No one knows if Raiden killed shujinko. But everyone knows stuff that has already happened. It might be a retrospective measure by Midway to state that noob is actually sub, but a careful look at the timelines of MK suggests careful planning. And I feel that noob's ending and identity are canon because of the fact that they echo the past. All of mk's endings that are in the balance are those that deal with the future, or stuff that is not confirmed yet. I just say that while not confirmed, it is HIGHLY LIKELY that noob is also sub, who as raiden said in mythologies was one of the greatest warriors ever, but with a seed of evil and the possibility of a tragic end should he fall in battle.
That said, sub zero does have his medallion, chrome. I find no evidence anywhere that he failed toretrieve it... IMO sub zero is the most powerful force on the side of good, but is jsut reluctant to come to the fore like LK. They are different characters, and sub zero is not the underdog style character like LK who will charge at the bosses facing overwhelming odds and somehow pulling some trick out of the bag and claiming victory. Sub is not that kind of character. He is more benign and less aggressive. But still good enough that beside raiden, he is probably the msot powerful and important player on the side of good. Since mk2 when has sub lost a battle? mk4 battle between scorp and sub never happened. Scorp has not met sub since mk2. NOob has never met sub.
Also, mk2's truce between scorp and sub is canon. WHile being more of a peace treaty kinda thing than a protection scheme, scorp agreed that sub was not the mortal enemy he was looking for. Raiden's mk1 ending is not true because it is speculative about the future. And only a chosen few of these endings ever become canon/...
