i kinda agree with you although sindels second costume looks great. the one witht he crown. i am a little dissapointed however that she doesnt look mroe queen and graceful like. she still like you said looks like a witch in a bathing suit.

I don't think Sindel was under any kind of spell. Since she was reborn a little time before MK3, she had been tricked into helping Kahn open the gates to Earth. In terms of how she looks in MK: Deception, her outfit yes is almost the same as her MK3 out fit. At the same time for me at least that outfit matches her perfectly. Oddly enough the MK team has made a mother sexy -_-......

Hmmm, so far she has her eyes rolled back, clearly a sign of evil. She still has her hair with gray streaks and her screaming. Maybe midway made her a neutral character, though considering that Kitana is more likely kidnapped Sindel will probably take over as the good girl now that Mileena is the evil one, Li Mei is rumoured to be evil(hopefully not!) so that only leaves Ashrah and I guess they want to balance the character distrubution out.

There was never any spell on her changing her appearence, she would've looked like that even if she was good in MK3.

Regardless of how or why, I for one like the change that Sindel got. Half the fun of kicking her ass in previous games was knowing that she was an ugly witch.

Did Shao Kahn have an ugly stick that we didn't know about or something. If so, MK3 Sindel got it broken over her head.

I personally like the way Sindel looks, even though she didn't changed that much since MK3. I don't think she looks that bad.

I actually think she looks different. I mean her chest is now shown unlike MK3 and she has pupils in her eyes.

Im a huge Sindel fan, she is my fav char of all time and i thin her costume looks great. I think it kinda looks like her Mk3 costume, but not exactly. I think it would have been to cool just give her, her classic coustume, that would have been cool too. Her alt is awesome though!

a witch in a bathing suit is fine with me. not all girls have to be blondes with pink outfits or army gear on. she looks a lot like ivy from soul calibur who is my favorite fighter ever. sindel's 2nd outfit is quite a change from her first so shush.

my guess would be her alt is actually her default and the classic outfit is her alt. that's how kung lao and sub-zero and some others ended up in mk:da.

I think that the reason the developers didn't change her look too much was that she already had quite a unique appearance. The hair is trademark, as is the shriek wave and the creepy eyes. I personally think she looks great. I dig the sort of good/neutral/evil thing she has going on. I do agree that she could look a bit more "royal", but I also have yet to see her second outfit.

I don't mind her MK3 costume being imported to MKD, but I do wish they had made her more reserved this time around. Sindel isn't a character I feel would be likely to go around strutting her stuff like she is. But with that aside, I think the costume looks good, even if it is her MK3 attire.

Now the second costume, although has a much better color scheme, isn't to my taste at all. Making a Queen/Mother/Widow look like a dominatrix is a joke, IMO. It's obvious that they were going to make Sindel eye-candy no matter what her story would be.

I wouldn't say her costume got imported from MK3 to Deception at all.

Her first costume looks alot different then her MK3 costume, only thing that is the same is the color. Keep in mind also, that almost everyone keeps the same colors when their outfits change.

Replay MK3 and then look again.

I never said girls had to be blondes in pink outfits, or army gear, nor do I believe that. And, rather Sindel is a witch or not, I just thought she would be more different than she is, for the sake of character developement, and to keep the storyline fresh. I personally thought that she would look more natural, or exotic.

She does look natural, hence she is. As for exotic though, that word does not fit Sindel one bit.

She still has a sexy witch look to her. Fetish anyone? Lol
