Yes yes, this is one of the few things I have a problem with Deception. If Deception where an aracde it would only be worth 25 per pop.

Really puts things into perspective, when a teenager pop singer turns out to be the re-incarnation of a german warlord.

I completely agree on this. Another thing is that the stages don't cycle.

only 6 characters !! and playing at the same 6 bg's all the time would get so boring. They should have cycled thru all of them like the older games, or had the option to choose before each match
Would've been nice to see the towers (or a variation of them) return.
I hope they fix up the BG issue for the PAL release

well maybe its short because of the konquest mode might of put too much stuff in it and didnt have enough time to make Arcade mode longer

I prefer it, and it has nothing to do with being a "novice," because I'm not a novice.
I just don't like having to trudge through a ton of opponents. I just want to see the endings. The lifespan of the game doesn't come from arcade mode, it comes from vs. and online matches (not to mention Konquest, PK and CK modes).

i would agree, there should be alternative "mountains" to climb.
also who else thinks that Noob-Smoke is a bad choice for the prior to Onaga? i mean, they are a normal playable character(s). i think there should have atleast been another filler character between going from Noob-Smoke to Onaga.

Yeah, I miss the option of different levels of opponents , like in mortal kombat 4, myself. I must disagree that the Noob-Smoke is a bad tandem before Onaga. These two PISS me off so much! Especially when they start switching off to finish combos and the such. Even though they are playable, I think they provide a good challenge before facing the final boss.

because midway is cheap and shitty.
u probably noticed that by now- how they do they minimum amount of work ( so they copy moves and crap like that instead)
we all wish deception was different from what it is, but it's not.
i'm never buying an mk game again. MK4 is actually better than this.
they should've just given that new stages, graphics and characters. at least the arcade mode was way longer and u could actually avoid getting hit by doing a backflip

on topic, as far as noobsmoke being the fight before onaga, I will say I can't think of any other playable charactor better for the job. THey piss me off to no end, in some cases, i'v found them harder than onagasad However, it would have been cool to see a filler before the boss, a pre-boss if you will,, like so many previous MK's had.

I think what was worse was having the final boss as a playable character, like they did in DA. I hated playing the final battles after defeating Moloch to fight chrs that were on the arcade select screen from the start, a bit of an anti-climax. If they are going to make sub-boss or boss playable, I say sub-boss, & out of all the playable chr's Noob-Smoke make the most sense because they have something special going for them since they are a team.

I like it short!!!! Athough it's always nice to be able to choose... it would be cool if you could choose from higher to lower mountain...

I prefer it short as well. It doesn't drag like MKDA did.
