Well i was trying to analyse why will the next instalment and the series in general are still making big buzz among videogamers and the community in general.

1.- The series is and continues to be a breakthrough in the industry for various reasons, at first instance it incorporated the use of human digitalized modeling, the fighting styles and gamemode was very realistic as well as the incorporation of the gore and blood factor, the ability or chance to totally extermine the life of you'r opponent once you've won was totally a breakthrough in the fighting genre. Lately the incorporation of #d Modeling and the usage of Different Stances as well as the usage of weapons gave a twist to the fighting mode making it more serious and pro.

2.- The story merging around MK:D (even with some twists) has been one of the pillars of the series success, before MK the stories behind fighting games were weak and lame, geenraly someone invited the toughest fighters in teh world to beat the crap outta eachother, but MK integrated an interesting story involving many elements such as survivance, Good Vs. Evil, The incorporation of deities and the fighting for existence itself. All the story and plot twists before MKD and after MKDA will sure give enough speculation and gossip for us to be drooling till the game comes out which will obviously make it another market succes and succesful entry on teh series.

3.- The comback of all time favorites such as Baraka, Mileena, Sindel, Kabal will surely give fans plenty of options to support their favorites, the creativity and originality thorugh out the series (IMO skip MK4) have give a solid basis for the players to keep track of the events after each tournament, MK:D will be no exception, the compound and mix of returning, old and new characters will surely give plenty of options and new ways to bring down the game to excelence.

4.-As always the controversy circulating the series has always been a detonator for it's success and best selling effects, many associations and worried parents and politicians have tried to stop it , but this exact controversy has made MK a lot way better than anyone should expect. As for MK:D and the introduction of Hara-Kiris or suicides there will be probably "worried citizens" fully aware of this and will try to stop it making it another succesful feature

5.- As for the personal effect, many MK is a way for ppl to let out all the energy, anger and feelings, i mean to beat the fuck out of someone and choppin' the fuck outta him is amazing and it doesn't hurts anyone, it's just a good way to let it all go so this is another factor that makes it succesful (IMO)

6.- The fact that many ppl around own console systemas and the gamer have been adapted or launghed fot his succesful ssytem, making it accesible ( at reasonable prices) for everyone giving us one more reason to get it
