why not release deception on the weekend?

damn thats annoying they release it in the middle of week when we are busy. furious i hardly got any hw nor took any tests this week for some odd rason. I know that with my luck i will have tons of homework and tests in all the main subjects next week...

Games aren't released on the weekends... never have been. You might see something pop up on a Friday (MK2 was released on home systems on a Friday), but never on Saturday or Sunday.

i beg to differ one of the mortal kombats i think it was one or 2 was released on a friday but i see the point i have to work tuesday and the rest of the 5 day week for that matter but i doesn't really matter. i still have from 5 30pm to 11pm to kick ass..... oh and i will be playing online the first day even though i don't have all the unlockables

If they released it on the weekend, it wouldn't be Mortal Monday.
As for games being released on weekends, people aren't supposed to work weekends, by default. Therefore there is less of a delivery workforce to bring the game to you.
That's just comcercialized thinking for ya, but it's at a base level the truth.
