Why Was Nintendo MKD was delayed ???

posted12/23/2004 11:22 PM (UTC)byI never got a real answer on the subject. the brady guide that was printed long before the release says on the cover it's for all 3 Consoles. so Nintendo was more then likely going to be released with PS2 & XB . i would like to know whos was responsible for the delay/set back. then ALL of us know were to direct out comments. i hate seeing eveyone here fighting about whos getting what exclusive content. i agree On bith sides people are getting screwed over. but at the same time in think each group has gotten something out of it the other will never have. PS2 & XBOX got the game first and online play. GC gest extra playables. had all 3 been released at the same time we wouldnt be fighting with each other. i recently had a bad experince with a star wars board and my biggest problem is when fans of one "thing" can;t get along. if anything we should get along better then most people sence we all have a common interest. it;s also the reason i havent been posting much here. So instead of bashing each other i guess we should question whos fault it was for the delay for the GC edition of MKD. peace and love to ya.
It seems that now MK:Deception for Nintendo Gamecube is going to come out on the 15th of February?!!
Hmmm..I thought for a second that Midway would keep January 15th as the damn release date. I was waiting forever for the cube version to hit retail shelves. Plus now every one knows that this version will reign supreme over the PS2 an XBox!!
Long live MORTAL KOMBAT fighting game!!

The cube version wasn't worked on until the ps2 and xbox versions were almost finished. The cube version at first wasn't even suppose to be made, but midway changed their minds after seeing the large fan base. It wasn't going to be made because of online play. Thats why there was a delay. Bceuase midway wasn't sure if they wanted to make a cube version that has no online capability.
