Since MK1 the MK storyline I have always liked. MK: Deception storyline seems to be most interesting out of all the Mortal Kombat games so far. Gameplay wise, since I liked MK: DA fighting engine, I can't wait to play the 50% new fighting engine. As well as fighting with the new fighting styles the characters have since I've read the controls are a bit differant from MK: DA. Online is the another big factor. Playing Mortal Kombat online and fighting against endless players is a dream come true.

This is an extremely stupid question. We buy it because we want to.

Why for the combo system. I love how you can switch threw all the styles in a combo. And there are not a trillon 4 hit combos like in other games. Fatality

New fatalities, return of classic characters.

I don't know if I'm going to buy MK:D... I am still clinging on to the days before MK:DA when the characters and storylines were simple. Now I am having trouble keeping up with all these people.

im having my doubts cuz sektor hasnt been mentioned and he had a good story goin..so y u gona kill him off? that lover fatality..is kinda throwing me off. maybe ill just rent it or something.

1 Because I like MK!!!!!

2 Because I want to

1.Konquest: Every fighter in the MK universe, pretty hard to pass that up.

2.New and Old Characters: Noob, Ermac, Hotaru need I say more?

3.Like 4 different fatalities! (1 fatality, 2 fatality, stage fatality, fall-off-stage fatality)

4.GORE,GORE,GORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, I like it because it's MK and it has a lot of fun stuff to keep me busy for hours.

ONLINE FEATURE.

As I am X-Boxless, I have been craving an online fighting game for PS2 for a long time, and honestly, can you really do better than Mortal Kombat? I must insist that you cannot.

Plus...Online Fatalities!!!

Because Mortal Kombat is the best game ever, second to Legend Of Zelda. Plus Mortal Kombat is just one of those awesome games, that will never get old no matter how many times you play it.

The characters. The Mortal Kombat is the only remaining series that has unique, original fighters. Tekken and Virtual Fighter's roster is and always has been trite(You'd think they'd make there characters interesting by now). Dead or Alive's cast is decent, at best. The only modern game that can hold a candle to MK's warriors is Guilty Gear, but even they run off the old concepts. The only game that ever came even close to having such a brilliant team of fighters is Killer Instinct. I'm glad we still have MK to carry the torch. The original street fighter characters were good, but later characters weren't worth a thousand shits.

Some say Mortal Kombat has a dark, or arcane, or even a mystic feel to it. Mortal Kombat has mastered these, no doubt. But mortal kombat has always been the most... can't think of the true word... but, colorful. It's always been vivid with fresh scenes, georgeous characters, mystical worlds, large breasts, and raging conflicts. Other fighters just seem so bland, these days.

And yes, I do like the gameplay. It's not the best, but it doesn't need to be the best. It only needs to be good. The essence the series has captured over the last ten years fills in for everything else.

I'd also buy it just to show everyone who is bashing MK that it is the best fighting game on Earth MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
