I have a question, the ones that are getting the special edition, will you ever play the first mortal kombat that comes with it???

I think thats the point of getting it, for MK1. There is no other point of getting it. Yup Ill be playing!

i play mk1 emu when i am bored at work so i am salivating for an arcade version of it.

It's going to be cool having an arcade perfect version of MK1. I hope that the MK2 and MK3 versions are "arcade perfect" too. I don't see why they wouldn't be I guess.

Well, i play it occasionally, but when you get a brand new version of an MK game, ie. MKD, would you really want to play MK1 on the same day?! I dont think I would!

I have to admit, MK1 is the part a care least about. I already have the arcade version on my PC, so I can play it any time I want anyway. I pre-ordered the premium pack for the extra bios, and the history of MK video.

i do have the original genessis and super nes versions as well as the MAME versions on my pc... i want this basically for a collectaable but i will still play it with hopes that boon and his team will
atleast atempt to add some of the secrets and rumors that we thought were in mk 1

I will play it more than Deception. if deception wasnt online or if it didnt come with mk1. i wouldnt get it.

Just got my Kollector's Edition. I have already clocked more hours playing MK1. Personally I have never had an arcade perfect version (no censoring), and I am loving it. I forgot how huge the character sprites were, they are huge! Goro is a real challenge (but not impossible) and Shang is a hard ass, and I got real satisfaction when I finally beat him again after all this time. MK1 fans, this is our dream come true!
