Will anyone turn the death traps off in versus mode?

Can you turn them off? i didnt hear anything about it but when im playing the computer i wont but when im playing other people ill turn them off.

Yeah you can. I heard there will be an option to turn them off. I would rather set them to only work in round 2. It would just seem more right that way.

If they're as easy to use as they look I'll definately turn them off, they throw balance straight out the window. But if the require some skill and are as rare as Ring Outs in VF4, then I'll probably just leave them on.

You couldn't get ring outs in VF4? Geez... wow Anyways, back to my point. The whole reason why Boon put in the death traps is to make you think more while playing in an MK game. Another thread had a post where someone was saying that you don't start right next to the deathtrap (with the exception of the crumbling tower stage). And if you are a good player you can see when someone is trying to lure you into the trap, and just side step the attack and hit them into it. I think that it will be good strategy, and I would leave them on.

ever watched high-level VF play? Ring Outs aren't very common at all
