poon i hate to put out ur fire bro for me idk care if mortal kombat turn out to be like battle arena toshiden i have true feelings for the characters and were all anticipaited to tryyout new ppl plus mk has new features lets see "ONLINE" that previous mk games didnt have plus chess kombat and tetris type kombat im not being rude but think about what ur sayin be 4 u make asumsations like that bro no offense but other ppl like me have feelings for the game of course it may suck but the characters is what i strive on.

Yes, but we don't know how any of this stuff will turn out. Sure, the characters are great, but what if Ermac's ending comes around and it says something along the lines of "Ermac wins and finds peace and buys a little kitten and moves to the country side to grow flowers". You don't know what the characters will be like in this yet. And online is nice if your into that (which i'm not), but how do you know it will run well and not be choppy and crappy. And minigames can be hit-or-miss as well. I'm not saying this game won't be great, but to say it's your favorite mortal kombat before it's out is ridiculous.

Actually MK:Oblivion was my favourite.
Way better than the 9th MK.

theres 2 things that can easily piss me off about this game.
1. cheaters online
2. shytty character endings meaning this charatcer such and such dies and will never make it into another mk game take hsu hao for example he fot raped in his 1st and only apperiance in mkda.

So you don't mind if the gameplay becomes complete shit? And taking out crappy characters permanently is a good thing. Hao Hso was a filler character that did his job as nothing but one game filler, and did a bad job at it, too.

so far Mortal kombat 2 has been the best and i'm waiting for midway treasures 2 more than deception, but i'll buy them both.

but really, how can we say before we even play it... my fav right now is MK2, MK3, MK1, MKDA, uh... MK4 isnt on the list.

This is the best one ever. Trust me

My favourite game so far is a toss up between MK2 & MKDA, and MKD seems to combine the 2 very well. The choice of characters, the darkness and the fantasy element seem much stronger in this game, and thats a big plus for me. I think this game will be my favourite...and I'm not just a fanboy/girl who will be back bitchin in a few months time, I genuinely think this looks like a great game!
