Goro is dead but the official word has not been passed on Kintaro, he has a chance though i think the chances are rather small.

Even if Goro was still alive I vote Kintaro. Hes bigger and stronger than Goro, and he is in the MK game that everyone oh so sweats MK2.

Goro is dead....but dead in the MK universe really means "temporarily immobilized."

Kintaro I'm assuming is dead, since no one says anything about it. So, IMO, he's dead.

I mean, it's been hinted since MK2 (...and the APPARENT death of Goro...") that Goro was still alive.

It sucks that Kintaro died for a useless reason. He died, believing that the Earth warriors killed Goro when Goro really just disappeared into the shadows of Outworld, ashamed to show his face to the Shokan people after he had been defeated. Not until 5 years later did he wake up and realize his grudge was useless compared to what was really at stake and came back to the Shokan people.
Meanwhile, Kintaro is dead cause he thought Goro was dead.

Several people have said an instruction manaul claimed Kintaro to have been uttely destroyed by Raiden, but instruction manauls tend to be inaccurate. Plus that info is obscure enough that the MK team could just pretend it never happened and few would notice.

I guess if Kintaro shows up in the netherrealm in Konquest mode we can assume he's dead. If he's found in the outworld or another realm then we may have not seen the last of him. I personally think it would be cool to battle him at the end of Konquest mode.

Goro was killed by Noob Saibot of course, but in MK death's sometime more of a temporary inconvience than a permenant thing
