The reason I ask is because i'm worried. I see the x-box live thread with lots of replies and no PS2 thread (unless I missed it). I bought the ps2 online adapter for the sole purpose of MK:D, but when trying out others, I notice that only around 6 or 7 ppl are logged on any given game. Can anyone here give me hope that my purchase wasn't in vain?
UPDATE: Ok well it seems a hell of alot are planning on it. Leave the s/n that you think you'll be using. I'd definatly like to organize a tourney. Afterall...we cant let the x-boxers have all the fun, now can we?

With as many people who have only a PS2, you will be suprised at how many people will be on PS2 Network Adapter. You won't have any problems finding opponents, trust me.

yes i will be on PS2 online, i'll be the one beating you every time. jk. there's probably millions of more people who prefer playing online with a reasonable sized controller than having to use two hands to just to move two directions on a shaq-sized controller.

I know a few other 'seasoned' players that will be playing on the PS2 also so I don't think we will have any problems finding competition.
They did a great job on organizing that thread. Someone needs to do this on the PS2 side of things as well.

Oh yea, dont worry. There are more ps2 owners than any other system by far. Ps2 online is also free as long as you have an adapter....so yea, including myself, there will be many many players.

haha hells ya ill be online and so will lotsa others (thanks mainly to socoms success and gettin everyone to get adapters) and i cant wait to whup up (or vice versa) lol. i just hope that their menu system and lag control is good tongue

i be there i just need a network adaptor and my name will be vaako but the uk dont get it until november so i wont be playin for a while.! sad
