the konquest mode from deadly alliance and the new one in deception r completely different it wouldn't be a good idea to compare them.

i'm guessing that with the amount of characters rumoured to be making appearences that have been erased from the MK storyline as far as we know that konquest won't follow the usual storyline nor that of the main deception storyline itself.

i think Shujinko will have his own separate storyline aside from deception unless all the erased characters are just making non-canon appearences and Shujinko plays his own role in the fight against the dragon king

I liked the personal story lines in konquest but im sure they'll find a way to tie em in somehow.

If Sujinko gets to be playable in all modes once you beat Konquest wich of course completely revolves around him won't that kind of make him the new Liu Kang type hero?

I dont think u will learn every detail about every char like u did in Mk:Da, but with this Konquest i think u will get a much bigger point of view over the main story. Also u more then likly will be able to see the events happen over time.

Well since every fighter in mk history will be in deception I believe everyone has a cutscene telling shujinko about their goal or history.

i think that konquest is being used to tie up all the lose ends in mk (theres alot) because it's been rumoured that mk7 will be the last one
