the countdown is in alignment with your pc clock there is about 18 hours diffrence ahead of USA in Australia , what will happen @ 3pm Eastern Australian time, as it still will be 16th April in the US? I hope we get to see something first for a change

No, they won't. Regardless of your time zone, the passage of time is still the same.

The " Passage" of time is not the same if there is a time diffrence which there is, and It would not make sence for noob.com to have 0:0:0:0 and nothing there to show for it for another 18 or so hours on top of that, midway should have made that clear for other regions if that is the case

Nothing will be released or shown officially until Midway Gamersday tomorrow night.

Relax.

Well, most people are intelligent enough to comprehend that the clock is AMERICAN EST, and as such, you will have to wait to see whatever is on that site.

Not a difficult concept to follow, champ.

actually the problem does not exists 'cause the noob caountdwn refers to American tabletime.
Europeans and asiatian/oceanian citizen should wait the respective hour of their country.
so when in USA will be 3PM and Midway amers day in Las vegas will take place we'll have the infos about our long awaited favourite game.
the infos will po up at the same moment world wide, however will be your pleasure to connect at noob.com at the right time

They're lazy enough to use a downloadable applet.
Noone should be shocked that it's using your local clock for timing.

No. This does not magically mean the MK team will update just for you.

What do you mean? The Ticker is the same all around the world. When it expires it expires for everyone equally. True it might be the middle of the night or early in the mourning for some people, but if that were really the case I would check the news as soon as possible. No need to stress it out.

About Me
On the first page of our story,
The future seemed so bright.
But this thing turned out so evil,
I don’t know why I’m still surprised.
Even angels have their wicked schemes,
And you take that to new extremes.
But you’ll always be my hero,
Even though you lost your mind...

Okay.. I can explain this seeing as I'm in Australia and the countdown just finished lolz.

Nothin happened sad

All that happened was that the timer thing stopped and it just goes "Countdown Complete";

(the reason it is blue is because I highlighted it lolz)

But yeh.. its counting down to 3:00pm in USA, not in any other place. The MK team were just lazy to make it countdown to a fixed point in time, but rather, they made it 3:00pm wherever you happen to be.

The applet runs relative to the time set on your machine.
So, no. It's neither accurate, nor relevant to the entire world. That's why people in timezones hours ahead of the US are already seeing it as complete.

If people paid any attention to what other people are saying, they would've noticed this weeks ago... (I know I mentioned it specifically not too long ago in one of the larger threads)
